Outdoor weddings have never looked so good! Lara & Anthony’s Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens wedding is everything you could ever want for a summer wedding. Inspired by Tuscan decorations and classic al fresco dining, Lara & Anthony opted for natural earthy colour palettes to reflect the Tuscany landscape on their wedding day. The couple made sure their guests would be comfy in the outdoors and provided blankets, suncream, hayfever tablets, and even a fun sticker trail to keep the kids entertained! Break the rules! Creating something bespoke is much harder work but it’s totally worth it! Wear a dress that is fun and makes you want to dance - you’ll be smiling all day! Work with good people who want the best for you. We were lucky to work with a wonderful venue and some amazing suppliers who totally got our vision and backed all of our crazy ideas. If you’re planning an outdoor wedding in the UK, always have a plan B...and C and D to avoid disappointment or uncomfortable guests.
Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens
Lara & Anthony love being outside so they were determined to get married outdoors surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. When they saw Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens, they knew it was the perfect venue. Taking inspiration from the Kelmarsh Hall and the stunning gardens, the couple created a secret garden-style wedding where Tuscany meets English country garden, and formal meets informal. Lara & Anthony married in the sunken garden, had drinks in the walled garden and ate beneath the lime trees on the back lawn of the house. By selecting the perfect venue, curating the decor and cuisine, and embracing Tuscan fashion and entertainment, this couple completely transported their guests to a celebration reminiscent of the romantic landscapes of Italy.
Favourite Moments
Lara & Anthony couldn't choose a favourite moment of their day (and we can't blame them because this day is incredible), so here are a few of their highlights! Hearing people squeal with delight as they entered the secret garden to see it filled with gorgeous flowers. Anthony surprised Lara with a champagne tower, which added drama to the afternoon with corks flying everywhere! Seeing all their loved ones eating together under the beautiful lime trees. Dancing to Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid on the steel drum, was a surprise by Lara for Anthony! Blankets, sunscreen and hay fever tablets were provided to make guests comfortable in the outdoors. Even the babies got personalised bibs as favours! The couple also had a sticker trail to keep the kids entertained!

Most of our suppliers were people we knew which made the day lovely and personal. All our suppliers smashed it!
