A lace mermaid wedding dress is a silhouette that will always be classic and so flattering. Emma & Alex's winter wedding at Recommended venue, Stone Barn, is giving us all those rustic and boho vibes. It is the perfect cosy winter wedding with velvet bridesmaid dresses and woollen suits for the groomsmen! The couple also used Recommended supplier, Entertainment Nation, for their band. To top everything off, Emma & Alex's wedding day was also the same day as storm Eunice in the UK. So without further ado, let us breeze through this stunning day!

Lace Mermaid Wedding Dress
Emma & Alex knew that having a winter wedding isn't traditional and can be a risk with the weather. But they absolutely nailed the styling of their day with Emma's long sleeve lace mermaid wedding dress, velvet bridesmaid dresses and woollen suits. There was also plenty of romantic candlelight and roaring fires to really set the tone. The couple's wedding day was also the day of storm Eunice, and as you can see from the pictures, it certainly was a bit breezy! But we think they look even better for it!
Boho Wedding
The overall vibes of this day are boho, rustic and elegant. The couple focused on a neutral colour palette with greens and foliage. The venue was warming and inviting with fairy and tea lights and big open fires, perfect for a winter wedding. Stone Barn spoke for itself and didn’t need much styling. Emma & Alex made their own welcome sign and Emma and her sister made the menus, place names and tile table numbers. Despite the wind, the couple also had so much fun getting those epic smoke bomb shots!

There were many amazing moments but one we will always remember was when the generators had to be recharged during our meal, all the lights were turned off and the whole venue was lit by candlelight, it was so romantic and lovely just hearing everyone chatting amongst themselves. When everything came back on they all cheered!
