Polstrong Manor is a country house wedding venue in Cornwall and was the beautiful backdrop to this vibrant pink-themed wedding! With a short puff sleeve wedding dress, stylish retro sunglasses, and gorgeous sunny couple portraits captured by Recommended Supplier, Katie Goff Photography, this wedding has all those summer vibes we could never get enough of. A hot pink Polstrong Manor wedding with retro decor and styling from disco balls to colourful sunglasses!
Our inspiration was to create a fashion-styled photoshoot to express that couples can style their wedding the way they want without traditions! We used lots of pinks highlighted in the flowers, shoes, the groom's suit and also the table decor.
Polstrong Manor
Polstrong Manor is a newly renovated country house nestled in the rolling hills of the Cornish countryside, situated 10 minutes from the stunning Cornish coastline. The interior of the venue features several wall murals and feather chandeliers. The grounds of the country house include a stoned walled garden with a rustic greenhouse and breathtaking views of the Cornish countryside. There is so much attention to detail at the property with lots of class and glamour. The venue has also been featured on Channel 4’s Renovation Nation with the owners being the first to marry at the venue!
Pink Wedding Theme
The inspiration was to create a photoshoot full of glamour, fun, and vibrant colours to express that couples can style their wedding any way they want. To showcase this, pinks, oranges and yellows were in the main colour palette. We love these colours together, it gives us all the dreamy sunset vibes. Those sunset colours are also in the sculptural flowers, platform bridal shoes, the groom's suit, sunglasses, and draped all over that outdoor sweetheart table. Using local suppliers from Cornwall, this shoot is stylish and sustainable. The bride's short wedding dress and sparkly reception dress are showstopping!
Waking up in Barbie’s Dream House has absolutely nothing on this pink-themed wedding at Polstrong Manor!
We included disco balls in our table set-up and biodegradable confetti canons full of colour for that extra wow factor. The wedding cake also reflected the style of the shoot with disco balls and bright pink colouring.
