You know, we simply can’t say no to a black ruffled wedding dress and a gothic-styled day. Tash & Tye (even their names work together), decided to shun tradition, opting for giant Colin & Connie Caterpillar cakes, LOTR and Star Wars references, and a tattoo station. Their bus transport included snack bags filled with Tayto’s and Cadbury’s chocolate, representing Tye’s Irish and Tash’s Midlands side. Wanting an informal wedding breakfast, they decided upon no seating plan, and no sit-down meal, just plenty of canapés, sliders and fries, which were quickly demolished! We looked like absolute rock stars! I loved my gothic princess wedding dress and Tye looked so COOL in his wine-red suit. Both of us added skull and bunny accessories (we are bun parents).
VIBE & STYLING
Tash & Tye shunned tradition! We love their use of a tattoo station and bus transportation (enjoy the rhyming). They also included gothic skull styling and references to Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars. Tash’s black wedding dress is a prime example of a coloured gown working perfectly - finding something you’re comfortable in is SO important on your wedding day. Can we also take a moment to appreciate Tye’s burgundy suit? This couple is seriously smashing our motto, Your Day, Your Way!

As we’ve said before, finding The One isn’t easy, and it can be daunting, but don’t panic! We’re here to help you on your way. If your dream dress isn’t white, then who cares! From coloured wedding dresses to something a little shorter, we’ve got the inspiration that will ensure you feel comfortable in your decision-making. We also love Tash & Tye’s use of accessories to showcase the fact that they’re bunny parents. It’s giving us alternative Something New, Something Borrowed & Something Blue vibes!
Could you be persuaded to write personal vows like Tash & Tye?
I custom-decorated all the skull jars myself (and handed them out as favours to anyone who wanted one). I also designed our photobooth prints with skulls and bats - it turns out being a Greebo wasn’t just a phase!
