Spring wedding inspiration with colourful flowers, a pink ruffled wedding skirt and a short wedding dress

A shoot inspired by Spring featuring shades of pinks and yellow freshly picked from the garden. Plus, a short wedding dress and ruffled wedding skirt.

Ballykealey House

Located in Ireland’s Ancient East nestled beneath the Blackstairs Mountains close to the picturesque village of Ballon, sits the enchanting 19th-century Ballykealey House set in sweeping lush pastures. Built on the gracious living of an elegant past today Ballykealey House combines that history with every modern convenience. The beautiful outdoors and garden were the perfect backdrop for this spring shoot.

Ruffled Wedding Skirt

We portrayed two stylish bridal looks. The blush pink ruffled wedding skirt embodied movement and was ideal for our outside captures. It is a real statement piece and doesn't require any additional accessories. The bride model wore statement earrings and kept her hair natural with tousled waves. To give the reception a quirky edge, the bride wore a short white wedding dress paired with pink shoes and a loosely pinned bridal updo.

A short wedding dress or bridal separates? The possibilities are endless when it comes to your wedding outfit.

The styling was inspired by the colours of spring. We used blush pink paired with mustard as the base colour of this shoot. Layered plates, gold cutlery details and coloured glassware gave the tablescape the wow factor. Florals were out of this world and had a very fresh and modern feel. A magical fluffy cloud of colour overlooking a meadow of enchanting bright beautiful hand-picked flowers. The stationery suite is clean with a minimalist design but added interest in colour and name tag.
