What Made Our Day Unique
My husband and I were both born in South Africa, and so chose to have a destination wedding, in the middle of the Winelands, just outside of Cape Town.We got married on a stunning rose farm, and our entire wedding took place outdoors. Luckily we were blessed with amazing weather. Our day was unique in that we had to plan our entire wedding from the UK, and we only saw our venue three days before we got married! Planning the wedding from the UK meant that we had no menu or cake tasting, no decor/table/floral examples, we didn't even have a rehearsal dinner. In a way it took out a lot of the stress of planning, we were both quite relaxed, and just had to make decisions on things. And the day turned out perfect, in fact it completely exceeded our expectations!
