The Vibe Of Our Day
We wanted a day of maximum freedom, inspired by Burning Man Festival. There had to be no rules, no protocols and – most of the time! – no shoes. We wanted a celebration of love and life, shared only with our closest friends (having celebrated with our relatives in France previously). We prepared 48 hours full of live music, artistic expression, emotions and freedom at La Farinera de Sant Lluís in Spain.
What Made Our Day Unique
Our wedding was inspired by Burning Man Festival, with the details of the day having a marked boho character. The ceremony/ritual took place in the middle of a large mandala by the lake, our guests relaxed at low tables with carpets and cushions on the floor, a mural was made between the trees to paint with spray, and at the heart of the celebrations was a naked tipi in which to sing and play instruments. Burgundy colours, feathers and minerals dominated the décor. There was a short break between the day and evening festivities and, at night, guests became Indians and animals for dinner and dancing to our five DJs.
