Boho Pastel Theme For Croatia Wedding

Carly & Lee’s boho Croatia wedding was a long time in the making. The couple had to wait three years for their wedding to take place due to the pandemic, so finally being able to tie the knot with 40 of their loved ones watching on was an incredible moment. The couple married at Villa Lav in Croatia with a pastel colour palette and all the boho vibes. With relaxed and casual al fresco dining, pretty flower crowns, and plenty of laughter, we are so in love with the laidback romantic vibes Carly & Lee created for their day. Carly also wore a personalised embroidered veil by the amazing Recommended Supplier, Rebecca Anne Designs. On hand to capture this magical day was Recommended Supplier, Lauren Elliott Photography.

Our wedding day started with a relaxing morning of wandering around the venue as they began setting up for the day, which was so lovely to see and be a part of. As we only had 40 guests, it was so special and intimate.

Pastel Theme For Croatia Wedding

We are obsessed with Carly & Lee’s pastel theme for their Croatia wedding. The couple tied the knot at the stunning Villa Lav, a gorgeous family estate with views that make it the perfect venue for an outdoor wedding. With boho flower crown hair accessories for the bride and bridesmaids, the whole bridal party looks like they’re taken straight out of a whimsical fairytale wearing soft shades of pink and white. Carly & Lee said their vows with 40 guests wishing them happiness in their marriage before an al fresco wedding breakfast followed by an outdoor dance floor! Carly & Lee wanted the relaxed boho vibes so it felt informal and chilled for guests.

Sentimental Moments

Carly & Lee’s intimate wedding included so many sentimental moments that made the day so special. When Carly’s dad walked her to the aisle, he kissed her hand and let Carly walk the rest of the aisle on her own. The bride had no idea he was going to do that and it resulted in beautiful and emotional wedding photos. We LOVE this! Carly’s mum also gave the bride a family ring that her grandad had found in a garden many many years ago. It was special and emotional to receive as a wedding gift as Carly's grandad is no longer with us. Carly’s niece (who was 4 at the time) even did a little speech at the wedding breakfast. How adorable!

Also, don’t worry about having things that you’ve seen at other people’s weddings if you can’t afford them. Having your closest family and friends there will make the day amazing no matter what.
