Firstly, set a budget and stick to it! Joe was involved throughout the planning but he was happy to let me take the lead on things! I kept my bridal party small and they were honestly heaven-sent angels on the day, I didn't want for anything. We wanted a low-key vibe with lots of fun so we made sure our decor, tablescape, and music reflected that.
Lauren & Joe
Lauren & Joe knew that a super coordinated matchy-matchy vibe wasn’t for them. Instead, the couple chose a pastel wedding theme so that they could incorporate pops of colour amongst the white, sage green, and gold base colour palette. Bud vases, candles, and flowers were used to bring in the pastel tones. The bridal party wore stunning satin sage green bridesmaid dresses to coincide with the theme! One of Lauren & Joe’s favourite moments of the day was walking into their reception to Space Cowboy by Jamiroquai. Everyone was cheering and they could finally see the top table, which was a major highlight!
The sunny weather meant Lauren & Joe could utilise the stunning outdoor space for their ceremony and drinks reception! Instead of going for a wedding cake, the couple instead chose a champagne tower, which smashed everywhere as soon as they started to pour! If only Lauren & Joe knew about our champagne tower tips and tricks! Alongside some epic wedding drinks displays, the couple had a fun booze bath! On arrival, guests could help themselves to drinks straightaway. The bath was re-purposed for the evening as part of the photo booth and turned into a mini ball pit for guests to have fun with colourful wigs!
