I just wanted to add in the section about advice for other couples… that we would recommend getting a videographer if your budget allows it. Our videographer, Jodie at Love is Lovely Weddings Films, was the last supplier that we booked. We initially didn't want a videographer because we found the videos a bit corny, but we were so pleased when we stumbled across Jodie's work. She uses 8mm film as well as digital, which added such a lovely grain to our wedding video, and we're so grateful that we have this keepsake that really captures the essence of our wedding day.
We can't say that we have a favourite moment in particular, but I would say that our band, Committed to Kisstory, made the day as they were so good and really brought the vibes! We found it incredibly difficult to find a wedding band as this was a really important aspect of our day, but they were amazing, and so we'd probably say that the dancing was one of our favourite bits; everyone was having such a good time, and we were all a bit merry!
I really hate wearing heels and was quite nervous about having to wear heels all day, so I eventually decided that I wouldn't and bought some open-toe platform Ugg slippers that I put on straight after the ceremony. They were quite hideous, but I love them, and they were so much more comfortable than plodding around in heels all day!
