Rebecca & Victoria’s rustic Ibiza wedding at Can Frare Villa was two years in the making! The brides settled on Ibiza as the destination for their wedding as they completely fell in love with the island when they previously went to celebrate their 30th birthdays. Ibiza is easy to fall in love with views of once-in-a-lifetime sunsets and just the right amount of rest, relaxation and partying. The inspiration for the styling and fashion (particularly Rebecca’s bridal hat) came from the iconic movie, The Parent Trap. Channelling all the Meredith Blake vibes, Rebecca looks so chic and sophisticated in her satin wedding dress and bridal hat! The whole wedding was planned and put together by the incredible Recommended Supplier, Hidden Treasures Ibiza, who the couple said made their two-week stay in Ibiza the best ever.

Rustic Destination Wedding in Ibiza

Rebecca & Victoria chose Ibiza for their wedding destination as the couple has been there for previous holidays for both of their 30th birthdays and fell in love with the island. The styling inspiration was vintage and chic. The brides wanted a lot of hessian lace and pampas grass for that relaxed boho vibe. The wedding favours were mini suitcase boxes (for the destination wedding of course) with personalised love heart sweets inside that had Mrs & Mrs Mitchell-McKenna on them.

Stylish Bridal Hat Inspiration

Meredith Blake from The Parent Trap laid the blueprint for the ultimate rich wife energy we all want to embody. The Parent Trap is one of Rebecca’s favourite childhood movies and Meredith Blake is one of her style icons. She took the inspo and made it completely her own! Rebecca is a hat lover and she wanted to make her bridal look as different and as unique as possible. Using Meredith Blake’s vintage hat from the movie as the inspiration, she decided on a white bridal hat with a veil and a satin wedding dress.

Rebecca has single-handedly brought the wedding hat back! Bye bye veils…

One of our favourite moments was entering the wedding breakfast after we were married and everything throwing and waving their napkins in the air. That is a moment for us that we will never forget.
