We single handedly researched wedding suppliers in Ibiza. As it isn't our home town, it wasn't easy to find suppliers, let alone make decisions when booking things with it being so far away. We flew to Ibiza one month before our big day for wine and food tasting, which proved to be an outstanding experience in its own right.
We started to plan our wedding a year before our big day. Time passed by so quickly I felt like we ran out of time. My two pieces of advice for planing couples would be: One, if you are planning to get married abroad, start planning it 2-years before, so you have enough time to do plenty of research and book suppliers you truly like. Secondly, no matter how big or small your wedding is, find yourself a wedding planner so they can take care of everything - from the tiniest detail on the day to any large blunders.
