We married over 2 hours from where we lived so we used a mixture of the recommended suppliers from the venue & also used some from our home town that we trusted to do the perfect job. We searched high & low for the perfect photographer & couldn’t find any in the Northeast nor our little town of Dumfries so we began to look online & that’s when we found, & fell in love with
Carla Blain's photography. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Being a Scottish bride getting married across the border was one thing that saddened me, especially the thought of having no traditional bagpipes to walk down the aisle to. My parents very kindly arranged one as a last-minute surprise for us and it really did make all the difference. We also wrote our own short personal promise to use during our ceremony and used our favourite City & Colour song as our first dance
