Lace & Favour

As someone who experiences anxiety, it was important to me that I felt comfortable with all my suppliers (especially for getting ready in the morning - my glam team were the best!), so we chose lots of suppliers through recommendations or word of mouth. How suppliers interacted with us from the first contact was important and we can confidently say that everyone involved with our day was amazing.
Really consider what’s important to you as a couple and where you want to focus your energy and funds. Piece together elements from previous weddings that enhanced your day. Fancy food, professional decor and a traditional cake weren’t for us. Don’t be afraid to break the mould. I’ll look at my ring every day for the rest of my life, so that was something I prioritised. Think about the space you have and what's going to have the most impact. Look for whatever you need second-hand - the local charity shops were our purse's (and the planet's) best friend.
