Teepee or Tipi

Based on a traditional Scandinavian design, PapaKata teepees (or tipi’s/tepees) are synonymous with bohemian chic. Sperry or Sail Cloth Tent

An icon of the Hamptons wedding and party scene, PapaKata Sperry tents are hot news on the other side of the pond. Lovingly hand-crafted in Massachusetts, the Sperry tents’ oyster canvas and iconic canopy ooze a timeless, graceful elegance. The Sperry features hand-sewn panels of authentic oyster-coloured canvas. These geometric design details by master New England sailmakers embellish the simplicity of its clean crisp lines, whilst hand-milled poles give a nod to their nautical heritage. Bell Tent

A small but perfectly formed tent, The Arabian Tent Company supply theirs with a ground sheet, LED lighting inside as standard and with pretty bunting around the exterior. There are options for a double bed (or two single beds) with linen and bedspreads, two side tables, two table lanterns and six floor cushions for seating. If you're having a festival inspired wedding then these make the perfect accommodation for guests, and they also make excellent chill-out areas for kids at wedding receptions.

Classic Marquee

Don't discount the classic white marquee - these gorgeous wedding tents have been brought bang up to date by some of our favourite suppliers. Plus white makes them the perfect blank canvas for whatever decor your heart desires.

Yurt

Yurts are circular in shape and have an opening in the middle of the 'roof' (traditionally acting as the chimney). If you're after a really cosy, atmospheric setting then a yurt is a great option from the wedding tents menu. They come in various sizes too so you can seat your guests comfortably. Do think carefully about lighting though and chose a photographer who is used to shooting in tents/yurts as the levels of light can be low or quite concentrated.

Naked Tipi

Ok so this one is kind of just for fun, but naked tipis don't get the credit they deserve in the UK as our weather is just so changeable. If you fall for the look (and quite frankly, who wouldn't?) then do consider one as an outdoor seating area, or even for your hen do? If the sun shines down on you for your big day then you'll forever be thankful that you took the risk. The photo opportunities are endless and decked out with fairy lights, they look truly magical at night.
