FAQS
How long are you available for?
As a wedding photographer, I believe it is important to be available for the entire day! From 9am where the Bridal prep begins, all the way through to the first dance. Sometimes even after the first dance depending on if there are fireworks or sparklers! (These always make for amazing photos so I will not miss this)!
How far would you be able to travel?
I'm willing to travel to anywhere within the UK and occasionally abroad! Let me know where you are planning your wedding and we will try to make it work!
How long is it until I can get my photographs?
I will try to get your photos to you within 4 weeks! If it is an extremley busy time of year then please expect between 4-6 weeks. I will do my best to get these to you as soon as possible!
How are the images delivered?
You will receive a link to a password protected online gallery. Your family and friends can get access to download and even print via the gallery too. The images will also be delivered in full resolution on a USB 3.0 memory stick in a “Dan Hodge Photography” branded box. You also get 20 4x6 prints!
Are the images watermarked?
No they are not. You paid for them so you should be able to share them as you wish.
Can I print copies myself?
Yes of course! I add in the contract that you get full printing rights to this. You can print small images, albums, canvases etc.
Do you expect food on the day?
I don't expect food but it is always much appreciated during such a busy day!
How much is the Deposit and when is the full payment required?
The deposit is 10% of the final price. And full payment is required 4 weeks before the wedding date. You can also pay this at an earlier date if preferred.
What if something goes wrong?
Now and then things could go wrong on a wedding day, this could happen to any one and with anything! If i'm ill for what ever reason and really really couldn't make it then I will do all I can to try and organise a backup photographer. Equipment failures could also occur now and then in rare instances (This hasn't happened yet). However I am using the latest equipment with Dual SD card backups, meaning that your pictures are getting written on to two cards at once! At the end of the day your images will be copied on to multiple hard drives and kept in two separate locations to keep at least 1 copy safe at all times! I also have two camera bodies so should one go wrong there is always a backup!
How do we book you?
Once you enquire, I’ll get back to you and confirm my availability. From there we can arrange a meeting and get everything booked in!
Are you insured?
Yes! I have public liability insurance in place.
