Berwick House, just a short drive from Shrewsbury, is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we met Kassidy and Will, we were captivated by their incredible energy, enthusiasm, passion, and vision for the place. Their ability to tailor the venue to our tastes truly sold it to us. The venue is, first and foremost, a family home, and it exudes that warm, welcoming feel, especially with all our friends and family staying there too. Each room is unique, filled with its own character, making it feel far removed from a corporate wedding venue or hotel. The chapel, in particular, is beautiful and added a special touch to our ceremony. Kassidy and Will were exceptionally responsive and eager to help tailor our day to exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much for them and their team, who worked seamlessly and were on hand whenever we needed them. Balancing each couple’s wishes and desires for their special day must be a challenging job, but they do it with such grace and charm. Their dedication and personal touch made our wedding day truly unforgettable.

We absolutely loved the time we spent at Berwick and the venue definitely was the key to making our wedding what it was - we couldn't imagine getting the same level of personalisation at, and personal input from, any other venue. Obviously, the House and gardens are stunning, from the outside and in. We really wanted to find a venue where our closest friends and family could stay the night before and after and at Berwick there are 15+ rooms - all spacious and uniquely designed, mostly with incredible ensuites(!), so everyone was already amazed before the wedding even began! It was really nice to be able to welcome people the day before and have a low-key family get-together on the eve of the wedding, and also have flexibility the morning after to have a group breakfast, walk in the grounds and ultimately pack up to go at a comfortable pace. The bridal party rooms are grand and more than big enough to host preparations through the morning for large groups of groomsmen and bridesmaids. Kassidy and Will were amazing, really personable and interested in our guests on arrival, and checked in through the wedding day and evening to make sure everything was running smoothly. They were attentive to our ideas and went out of their way in the months leading up to our wedding to make sure we could do things as we envisaged, which obviously meant we had the wedding we had dreamed of. The other massive selling point of Berwick for us was the ability to choose external providers of various aspects of the day, for example food and entertainment. Kassidy and Will liaised with each provider so that everything went really smoothly, even for example enabling our photographer to have a pre-visit without us needing to be there. Will and Kassidy used their experience of previous weddings to let us know what other couples had chosen and what had worked well, but we were still able to make our personal choices. I was amazed by the food that our external caterer, Kemp and Kemp, produced, proving that the kitchen area at Berwick easily accommodates what’s required to produce a great three course meal for ~100 guests. Amazingly, Berwick has multiple possible dining rooms for parties of around this size, offering flexibility for you in how to use the multiple amazing ground floor rooms through the day/night. We chose to use the on-site chapel for our ceremony, which required no decoration to look amazing, and similarly the interior of the House is full of character already, so we enjoyed the atmosphere with minimal additions ourselves. We thought the main hall was a fantastic place for band and dancefloor, but equally the room in which we ate the main meal would allow for a great party space with the noise somewhat removed from the middle of the House. Having the bar managed by the staff at Berwick was another stress-free element that worked really well. I can’t emphasise enough how impressed all of our guests were with the venue and Berwick staff, and how the day went, which is in a large part down to the incredibly helpful team. I would absolutely recommend!

I had my wedding at Berwick House and it was truly the best day of my life, largely down to this spectacular venue. We first booked Berwick before they had actually hosted any weddings, and its been wonderful to see how the space has developed so quickly. Will and Kassidy have been so accommodating for us over the last 18 months. It's been lovely to have them along for the ride throughout the whole planning process. At some venues, you feel like you are on a conveyor belt of "copy/paste" weddings, but that is not the case at Berwick. We felt so cared for, and you can tell all the staff are genuinely passionate about making your wedding special and bespoke to you. When the day finally came, our guests were absolutely in awe. The building is stunning, and the rooms are spectacular. Each with their own unique style. The photographer and videographer were thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot here. We want to thank all the Berwick staff for everything. We received so many messages the next day saying "WEDDING OF THE YEAR", and we both woke up so happy.

Our wedding at Berwick House could not have been more magical. From the first day we saw the place, and Kassidy took us around telling us about the history, we instantly felt the homeliness, the care, and the amazing family legacy, that Will and Kassidy are working so hard (though you never see the effort) to uphold. The house and grounds are outstandingly beautiful, which is self-evident, but every single one of the 40 guests who stayed with us at the house on site for the 3 days, plus many of the rest of the 100 wedding guests, commented how much of a family feel Berwick House has, and how much it felt like "our home for the weekend" - we only wish! Will and Kassidy, along with Melissa, made every step of the planning so easy. Nothing was too much trouble. And come the big day itself, they helped everything run seamlessly. Melissa even took on the care of our 1 year old labrador for the duration of our stay. We could go on, but for the sake of brevity, suffice to say that we can not recommend Berwick House more highly. If you're thinking of having your wedding there - do it! It was the best move we made during the whole of the planning. Will & Kassidy, thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. You have something really special on your hands, and it's so wonderful that you want to share it.

Berwick House was the most fantastic wedding venue we could ever have hoped for. Will & Kassidy were the most fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The house and setting are absolutely beautiful and the bedrooms are just incredible! We loved hearing about all the history of the house too which Will & Kassidy are working so hard to uncover and preserve. Tim the bar manager and Jade our wedding planner were also brilliant and we trusted them wholeheartedly to keep the day running smoothly. Our guests loved the venue and we can't thank you all enough for making our day so special.

Me and my partner got married here in summer 2024. The venue was absolutely amazing - literally every room has been beautifully designed and the whole house is a perfect venue to have a wedding or big party. The team at Berwick were amazing on the day and were really flexible helping us organise everything. We overall absolutely loved being at Berwick House and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone! We were so sad we had to go home!!

Berwick house was the most perfect location and venue for our 3 day Indian wedding in July 2024. After first visiting the house 18 months prior in January 2023, Will and Kassidy have transformed Berwick into the most beautiful home, which feels very sympathetic with what we would imagine was the original home. The scale and beauty is unreal and a view you can never get tired of - it was always fun seeing our friends and families' reactions when they came up to the house! We chose Berwick for its style and charm, but also because we could choose all our own suppliers, especially catering, and would have exclusive use of the whole house for the entirety of our wedding weekend. Over the weekend we had food trucks (pizza and Greek) on our first night followed by Indian food for the following two days. There are so many spaces within the house that we were spoiled for choice where to hold events. On the main wedding day, we had hair and makeup in the library, our ceremony on the lawn, dinner in the drawing and dining rooms, speeches on the stairs before dancing the night away! Another favourite space was the billiards room, where we could relax with friends late into the night after the majority of our guests had left (or gone to bed!) for the evening. The accommodation was wonderful and everything you would want from a luxury experience. We stayed in the South Suite (mostly because of the pink walls!) with the most beautiful views over the garden, whilst our family and friends filled the rest of the home in spacious, relaxed suites and bedrooms. In addition, it is very close to the lovely Shrewsbury town, which made it very easy for our guests to stay nearby and have all the amenities that we would have needed. Will and Kassidy were welcoming and warm and very accommodative of our plans and ideas and the most wonderful hosts. We could not have asked for anything more for our wedding and we hope to spend more time in Berwick in the future and could not recommend Berwick more to anyone planning a celebration!

Berwick were incredible, from the way they supported us, were professional and knowledgeable when it came to arranging the day. To the way they worked with us to create the perfect setting. The house is beautiful, and so are they as people!

We were lucky enough to stumble upon Berwick House last year and secure it for our wedding. If the venue itself is not reason enough to go book, then Will and Kassidy sure are. They run Berwick with such love, care and passion, and in our experience did everything they could to make our wedding amazing. Berwick is a quirky, beautiful, grand house full of charm and possibilities. All our guests were blown away and have not stopped talking about "the amazing venue". Will and Kassidy went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, and were always accommodating and on hand to help with a smile and calm demeanour. They are also just very cool and nice people to be around. We could not recommend Berwick House enough - it was truly magical and everything we had hoped for.

We had our wedding at Berwick House on Saturday 14th October, and I have to said it was truly the best day of our lives. The hosts were amazing, helping to set up rooms and were very flexible to meet our requirements and desires for our special day. They were prompt when we had an enquiry and help whenever they could. The venue itself was absolutely fabulous, full of history and has recently been undergoing some redevelopment – it is also situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, only a mile or two away from Shrewsbury town centre. All the rooms were clean and decorated in a way that both compliments the history of the place with a touch of modern quirky splendour. I would thoroughly, thoroughly recommend this place for a bespoke wedding. Thank you very much, Will and Kassidy, you have been amazing.

From the first email, Kassidy and Will were phenomenal. They way they support you to make sure your day is everything you dream of was just outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Their communication was impeccable and completely supportive and realistic! Berwick itself, is like stepping in a film and we were mesmerised. It huge, we personally chose and requested to close off some of the house to keep our guests together- which once again Kassidy and Will fully supported our decision and made it possible! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of, and all suppliers worked well together and Kassidy and Will were more than accommodating. We had the horror of our one supplier letting us down, kassidy was so calm and literally problem solved and came out with a miracle. We would recommend the house, the church and the service! I wish we could do it over and over again! We had nothing we would change. Thank you so much Kassidy & Will!
