We just wanted to take the time to say a massive thank you for supporting, guiding and providing us with the most amazing and magical wedding day. The day played out exactly as we had hoped and exceeded ours and our guests expectations in every way. From the moment we booked, to every meeting and to when we left the morning after our wedding, we felt cared for and nothing was too much trouble. The venue, the staff, the food, the rooms and the attention to detail was second to none and we could not recommend you enough as a wedding venue. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts.

The Old Kent Barn is an utterly magical venue. We got married here in July this year, and it was the most special day. We first viewed the barn almost 3 years before our wedding day and were blown away during our first visit. The whole team are so friendly and we got such a warm feeling looking round the barn. One of the things that really appealed to us is that TOKB truly has everything – there are two on-site dressing rooms, so both of you can get ready at the venue on the morning of your wedding day for ease, both the outdoor and indoor ceremony options are STUNNING, so your photos will be beautiful come rain or shine! Plus, there is accommodation on site (with amazing breakfast the following morning too). The location is also beautiful and there are lots of quiet fields and woodland areas around the grounds that make for stunning photos on your wedding day. The barn’s wedding planning portal is absolutely incredible. The team have been so thoughtful and includes booklets for recommended suppliers, menu guides, guest guides, and all of this truly takes so much stress and worry away from planning your day. We had regular meetings with TOKB team throughout the planning of our wedding, and they also do tasting evenings for their couples where you try lots of the food (truly scrumptious!) in advance of selecting your menu choices for your wedding. The food really does deserve a shout out as it’s just incredible – there are so many options to choose from and you and your guests will not go hungry! On the day itself Elsie and Tabitha were incredible. They are both amazing at their jobs and made the morning feel so relaxed. Both of us didn’t need to worry about a single thing as everything ran so calmly and smoothly. We had truly the most amazing wedding day and so many of our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue is. We loved every single moment and will cherish all of the memories from our wedding day for the rest of our lives. Thank you to the whole team at TOKB for all that you do for your couples.

If you are currently trying to find the perfect wedding venue then The Old Kent Barn is it!!!!! Wow wow wow, thank you so much to all of the incredible staff at The Old Kent Barn for making our dream wedding come true in June this year. From the moment we walked in those beautiful barn doors we knew this was the venue for us, and TOKB continued to go above and beyond, and still are to this day even after our wedding is over! We had so much fun during the planning process using TOKBs portal which is so helpful, and no question was ever too much to ask. We always got a response from the team so quickly (usually within a few hours!), and we truly felt that everyone that worked there wanted us to have the best day ever. This is a team of extremely passionate people that really care about their venue and job, you won't feel like you're just another wedding here. Wedding planning can be a bit overwhelming but the portal made it so much easier as it takes you through step by step things you need to think about. TOKB have an extensive list of recommended suppliers too which was extremely useful for planning! TOKB also put on a food tasting event for all couples getting married around a similar time. It was incredible!!!! It felt like we got to attend a wedding at TOKB as a guest before our own which was so nice and we will really cherish the memories from that night forever. We must've tried about 10 dishes, and god knows how many wines, nothing was too much to ask!! On our wedding day Chloe was our coordinator and she absolutely smashed it! She kept us all calm and collected and brought the positive vibes which is exactly what you need when you're about to do one of the biggest things you'll ever do! She was on top of everything, knew all of our details inside out, and even managed to switch the ceremony to outside last minute when the rain thankfully held off. All of our guests commented on how fantastic the staff were, thank you all so much! THE FOOD - this needs a special shoutout because honestly the food at TOKB is like going to a 5* restaurant. We'll be dreaming of that lamb dish forever more! Again all of our guests commented on how amazing the food was, so thank you so so much to the chefs!! We stayed over at the barn with a few close friends and family too and the breakfast the next morning was equally as amazing. We really had the most amazing experience ever with The Old Kent Barn and couldn't recommend them more to other couples. The feeling that a venue & all staff really care about you despite doing weddings nearly everyday is rare to find, but TOKB do exactly that. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything! If you are looking for a wedding day that’s personalised, supported, organised and comes with no stress then you MUST book the Old Kent Barn. Our day was just how we wanted it and was perfect. I honestly couldn’t fault the team at the venue, running it smoothly to time and the BBQ was amazing. Every detail was discussed prior to the day so the wedding day itself was not stressful. No request was too much to give us the perfect day. There were no last minute stresses, Chloe our co-ordinator had it all under control and was just brilliant. We had the best day and honestly just want to do it all again. We wouldn’t change anything and had so many compliments!
