Same-Sex Winter Wedding with Acrylic Signs, Christmas Tree and Harry Potter Table Names

Fingers crossed it’s sunny where you are today, but let us transport you to a truly magical winter wedding.  Paul and Reece (who incidentally have the most satisfying Instagram grid. Seriously, their interior choices are FIT) are an incredibly chic couple. They styled their winter wedding perfectly with stunning suits by Alexander McQueen and Hugo Boss (which Paul actually found in the Harrods sale!) elegant acrylic signs and personal, enchanting nods to a certain book which holds a special place in their heart.

“From start to finish Reece and myself, Paul, styled and created every aspect of the day – every aspect was personal, from our friend acting as celebrant, through to amazing speeches to the band. We tried to plan everything to kick off everyones Christmas in style, and so it all felt personal to us” – Paul & Reece

Winter Wedding

I think Paul and Reece’s description of their winter wedding is one of my favourites; “Opulent, luxurious black-tie – The Oscars meets Hogwarts!”  It sounds utterly fabulous and the backdrop of List member Carlton Towers just adds to the elegant magic of the whole day.

“I (Paul) proposed to Reece using a copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with the ring in the Unbreakable Vow chapter, so wanted a thread of HP through the wedding… making our favours etc in a slight theme” – Paul & Reece

I’ll just leave you with Paul and Reece’s advice for wedding planning; “Take it easy, things will go wrong but it will all be OK on the day – and keep it personal, it’s your day and people remember the personal touches more than anything else” We love this sentiment and would implore all you out there to remember this. It’s what we always say – Your Day, Your Way!  But, just to be prepared, have a listen to our podcast episode on When Things Go Wrong and let Becky and Charlotte talk you through what could wrong…and how it’ll still be a spellbinding day.
