It’s All In The Name….part 2
One of my favourite things to look at when we receive a real wedding submission is the accessories, being a lover of “dressing up” a relatively simple outfit with statement jewellery or fancy shoes I find I can really gain a sense of the brides style from her carefully considered selection.
…And good Lordy is Steph one stylish Madam, if you want to know how to put knitwear with your gown come your winter W-day then look no further, Steph makes it look completely effortless.
Talking of a seasonal soiree, the soft muted colour palette works so well in terms of appearing contemporary whilst remaining both timeless and elegant.
Last but not least I must mention the stationery. Steph made it herself. I think she should go into business as I have never seen anything like it. Talented and uber cool…. I officially have a new girl crush folks.

Hand Tied Pretty
We wanted an informal feel to the flowers which were expertly provided by Julie of “Pink on Green” (pinkongreen@gmail.com) who patiently listened to my ideas over pints of tea and transformed them into beautiful arrangements. She mixed fresh flowers with silk for the larger displays which she kindly loaned us to help with our budget, and arranged the table centres into vintage champagne buckets which we bought on ebay.

It’s All In The Name….part 1
If you remember our Dirty Pretty Things engagement shoot post then you will recall how Steph and Chris’s W-day plans sounded completely and utterly out-of-this world amazing.
And you know what? it was. Unbelievably so.
It’s no secret that I’ve been looking forward to posting this one-of-a-kind W-day since photographer Guy Collier let us have a sneak peek a few weeks after the event as there is not one element I don’t love, from the sexy shoe candy ( McQueen people McQueen!) to some of the most unique and delicious paper pretty I have ever seen.
Steph is a Rock My Wedding bride in the truest sense of the word and if you want “doing it your way” inspiration then it’s right here folks, Steph and Chris knocked it clean. out. of. the. park.

Best Face Forward
My make-up was by the legendary Katy Messer of “MakeupbyKaty”, who also acted as my Best Woman, rock and all round wedding advisor. Her years of experience and talent as one of the leading industry make-up artists were on hand to create an edgy yet elegant bridal look that made me feel my utmost confident as I prepared to walk down the aisle.
My hair was styled by Cassandra Rizzutto who not only created a style that suited perfectly, but provided the most incredible sense of calm throughout the whole preparation and stayed right up until the last minute before the ceremony.
