To introduce this wedding, we have one thing to say. JAW-DROPPING! Adesola & Joe’s Kimpton Fitzroy London wedding was a boho luxe day with a blush pink, white and gold colour palette. The grand backdrop of the Kimpton Fitzroy hotel was a perfect choice to elevate the glitz and glamour. With an emotional musical performance by the groom and his dad, as well as a gospel choir, a live band from Recommended Supplier, Entertainment Nation, and a DJ, it’s safe to say that Adesola & Joe gave their guests a day to remember! The couple also chose Recommended Supplier, Prezola, for their gift list. Let’s get into it!

I felt honoured to be chosen for this beautiful couple to coordinate their gorgeous fusion wedding. As an external person to the wedding itself, I got the emotional vibe and the love that burst into the atmosphere! Working alongside Adesola (a super organised bride) made the wedding run smoothly and stress-free!
Kimpton Fitzroy London Wedding
Adesola & Joe’s vision was a classy city London wedding with personal touches that had guest experience at the heart of it all. The couple wanted their guests to be transported into a modern fairytale, which is why a Kimpton Fitzroy London wedding was on the cards! Adesola & Joe had their wedding ceremony at their local church where they hope to walk past daily and show their kids one day (AWW!). The couple had an intimate send-off moment at the church, which was one of their fave moments of the whole day as they could soak everything in! London buses transported the guests to The Palm Court, which was the perfect setting for a laidback summertime drinks reception and the hotel suites were great for getting ready with loved ones!
Wedding Music & Performances
The overall styling of the day was boho luxe with a colour palette of pinks, whites and gold. It was important that guests were not short of food and drinks, so Adesola & Joe’s menu and wine list were varied. Besides the food, music was super important to the couple. Especially because Joe comes from a musical family. There was a gospel choir singing Adesola down the aisle and they were a massive hit with the guests! For the reception, there was a band and DJ. Meanwhile, Joe’s dad sang his speech and he also sang the song for Adesola’s father-daughter dance with Joe’s uncle! By far, the best moment of the night was Joe performing to his new wife with his Dad for the first time! Our hearts have melted!
The fashion at this wedding is off the charts - the guests all certainly understood the assignment!
I found it very difficult to decide on a wedding dress because it’s such a big statement. Funnily enough, I actually ended up going with a custom version of the first dress I pinned on my Pinterest board from Leah da Gloria. My fitted off-the-shoulder fitted wedding dress exceeded my expectations and the overskirt was perfect for a bit of drama for the church. I went way over my budget on my dress but lucked out in finding the perfect cathedral chiffon veil for my dress on Etsy for £100. I felt like a princess!
