From Runway to Aisle: The London Fashion Week Hair Trends Brides Need to Know

For bridal, I can really see the Harris Reed hair translating beautifully. There’s something very modern about the contrast between the high-shine, sculpted front and the soft, airy texture through the lengths. It has that sense of polish you want for a wedding, but without feeling too ‘done’. I love the idea of a bride looking incredibly refined from the front, then having this softness and movement revealed as she turns.

The Susan Fang look has such a natural bridal romance to it. The braiding gives you the craftsmanship and detail, but we deliberately pulled it apart and allowed flyaways and soft tendrils to escape, so it never felt too perfect. For a bride, I think that balance is beautiful - something that feels special and considered, but still soft, youthful and a little undone.

What I love about the Roksanda hair for bridal is the idea that you don’t necessarily need to transform your hair to feel special. We worked with every model’s own texture and elevated what was naturally there, keeping the hair close to the head and opening up the face. I think there’s something incredibly confident and modern about a bride looking like the most beautiful version of herself rather than feeling she has to become someone else for the day.

Going forward, I think we’re going to see much more of this idea of elevated natural texture. There’s been such a long period of hair feeling very perfected and heavily styled, whereas now there’s something incredibly fresh about working with what someone naturally has - their texture, their hairline, their movement and simply making it feel considered. For me, luxury in hair is becoming less about transformation and more about individuality.
