Inspiration

We are loving this romantic inspiration at Castle Gibson - giving us all those Marie Antoinette at Versailles vibes. With its distressed yet totally put together styling, each aspect exudes a Parisian influence. From the delectable cake to the pastel-coloured florals, Castle Gibson provides the ultimate backdrop. Oh, and not to mention the stunning stationery from, Recommended supplier, Chloe Ainsley Creative. We really do wish we were lounging on that sweetheart Chaise Longue eating macaroons… now, as Marie Antoinette (didn’t actually say), let them eat cake. Enjoy this feast for the eyes!

TABLE PLANS

Adding the finer details, we had two beautiful table plans from Louise at CoCoLu designs. The first made from a pane of glass with hand drafted white script and gold leaf edging. Carefully displayed on a vintage gold easel. The other, a hanging coloured disc display suspended from a copper arch. Giving a potential alternative for modern style conscious couples to guide guests to their seats.

VIBE

Minimalist and romantic with contemporary bridal gowns from Andrea Hawkes Bridal. Complemented by classic bridal shoes from Emmy London and delicate details from Botias. Our vision was to to mix these timeless details with the contrasting distressed feel of the Castle Gibson. Large sash windows flooding the rooms with natural light. Distressed paintwork peeling from the walls. Along with the original oak and parquet floors really bought this stunning shoot to life.

CATERING

The scallop ceviche served in fresh shells from the catch of that day, provided an exciting alternative to the classic canapés. Light enough to allow room to indulge on dessert. The centre piece, our celebration cake, lovingly baked by Rana’s Delights. The three tier square cake, decorated with edible gold leaf, dahlias and peonies when displayed on the vintage dresser from Locate to Create, made it the stylish, understated focal point for the room. Our rustic brass candle holders and hand died fabrics from Mia Sylvia added the final touches to our relaxed, chic cake display.

Your table plan can truly be a centrepiece - throw away tradition and get creative! Take a little inspiration from this shoot…

The neutral tones, complimented by hand scripted fonts and the stylish wax seals for our menus, along with place settings lovingly designed by Chloe Ainsley, made our bespoke menu effortlessly produced by Natasha Sealy the delicious star of the shoot. Having made it to the semi-finals of this year’s series of Master Chef, Tasha is currently one of the most sought after chefs for private dining experiences as a result of her exciting combinations of ingredients which she combines with her creativity to suit any event or palette.
