Inspiration

This editorial shoot comes with a warning, you’ll need some sunglasses to shield your eyes from this disco wedding! Inspired by a Freda Bennet Brady wedding dress embroidered with daisies, this shoot takes place at the stunning The House Meadow in Kent. This shoot is all about the glitz and glamour with disco balls everywhere and we are obsessed. Responsible for all the disco balls are the incredible Recommended Suppliers, The Little Wedding Warehouse, and Recommended Suppliers, Disco Dining, did the tablescape! Plus, on hand to capture this day was the amazing Recommended Supplier, Olegs & Rita Photography!

Disco wedding with disco ball everything - from favours, plant pots, and cake stand!

We wanted to mix up the daintiness of the daisies with something bold and fun, which is where the disco inspiration came from!

Disco Wedding

The House Meadow is a picturesque farm wedding venue and family home with a lake, a wildflower meadow, and a gorgeously rustic horseshoe barn. The inspiration for this shoot started with the Freda Bennet Brady dress. It’s a British-designed dress featuring embroidered daisies and an A-line skirt with puff sleeves. Marrying the two inspirations (the venue and the dress) this incredible 60s retro disco dream emerged! The model and bride is also a wedding hair stylist herself! She styled her own hair for the shoot with loose waves and lots of volume. Recommended Supplier, Make Up by Shanni created a soft and glowy look with winged liner, which was embellished for the evening look with face glitter to match the funky sunglasses and sparkly jacket. All of the beautiful jewellery was provided by Recommended Supplier, Fitzgerald Jewellers

If you thought you’d seen disco before, this shoot will prove you wrong!

The House Meadow in Kent is where we actually got married ourselves - it's so dreamy!

The Little Wedding Warehouse

Well, if you like this disco wedding, we have plenty more where that came from. Take a look at our disco ball inspiration for even more ways you could involve disco balls in your day (although we’re fairly certain that this shoot has shown you everything and more!). Besides all the glitz and glamour, we are so in love with the bride’s look. It wouldn’t be complete without all those stunning bridal accessories
