Inspiration

When the bride is a florist who has just set up a dried flower business, you know it’s going to be good. This glorious Hayne House wedding includes all those boho and informal vibes you’re looking for. From the pampas grass to the hand-stitched denim jacket, you’ll be sure to find an aspect you love. Seriously, that outside setting complete with disco balls and a little bit of a 70s theme? We’re feeling it! Hayleigh most certainly outdid herself on this one! Of course, it was all beautifully captured by Recommended Supplier, Olegs Samsonovs Photography.

Hayne House wedding complete with dried florals

Being a florist and having just set up a dried flower business, I created all the flower designs myself. They included around 100 various sized vase arrangements, 3 large hoops, bouquets, button holes and 2 large pampas vases. My mother created my clay floral headband and she also hand stitched all the details onto my denim jacket which I wore in the evening.

DIY & PHOTOGRAPHERS

If we could do it or make it ourselves, we did. It really made the day special to us and we felt the hard work definitely paid off. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the look of the day. Because of the pandemic and postponing the original wedding date, we were able to put so much more time and love into our designs. Shoutout to our photographers Olegs and Rita, they were incredible with an amazing eye for detail. They set up stunning photos and the day wouldn’t have been the same without them.

PERSONAL TOUCHES

After we were married and walked back down the aisle together, we played Fat Boy Slim ‘Praise You’. It was so much fun! We love attending festivals, especially Glastonbury, and Fat Boy Slim is one of our favourites. Everything about the music was us. Go with what feels right as a couple, and the things you both enjoy. Have fun and don’t put too much pressure on yourselves, it goes by in a flash. Our vibe was informal, very laid back and boho. With the main idea to eat, drink, dance & have fun!

Dried florals are a perfect and more sustainable option on your wedding day! Happy wedding… happy environment!

Entering the ceremony room with my dad and son on each arm, seeing my partner and our daughter waiting at the end of the aisle. Then, seeing my designs and vision come to life, it was a moment I’ll never forget.
