Inspiration

Llinos & Kash’s autumnal wedding at Recommended Venue, Dewsall Court, was so beautiful. The couple’s love story unfolded with autumnal tones, multicultural traditions, and heartfelt surprises. This wedding celebration really captured the autumn vibes with red bridesmaid dresses and bright sunflowers that light up any room. From epic dance entrances to emotional readings, this wedding day is a true testament that you can never go wrong when you do Your Day, Your Way! Let’s get into this stunning day! Featuring, what we think, is the coolest father-of-the-bride outfit ever!

The flowers and Holly's photography stole the show! On the day, we captured a moment that will forever be my favourite family picture, my brother in his wheelchair, smiling up at me. I found my dress exactly 1 month after our engagement and I had it before we had our venue. I tried it on and just fell in love. It couldn't have been more perfect, especially topped off with my Jimmy Choos! In the evening we both changed into custom-painted air force ones with an elephant and dragon on them, with the date and Mr & Mrs Ndlovu.

Llinos & Kash

Dewsall Court Wedding

With Llinos being Welsh and Kash being Zimbabwean, it was vital for this couple to blend their cultures throughout the day at Dewsall Court. The couple and their wedding party danced their way into the wedding reception as per many African traditions. All of the place names were Welsh Love spoons! It’s all in the details! Llinos & Kash’s surname, Ndlovu (Elephant in Ndebele) as well as the Welsh dragon, was included on the stationery and signage. The music was curated by Llinos’ Dad and it was a mixture of African-inspired music to Welsh artists. Llinos had pre-recorded herself singing Shania Twain’s From This Moment to walk down the aisle to. It was an incredible surprise!

Red Bridesmaid Dresses

The inspiration for this Dewsall Court wedding was the colour palette of autumn and some of the couple’s favourite things. The colour palette was burgundy, gold and white, which was in our wedding flower arch into the church and even in the cake, with the elephant and dragon on the wedding logo included. The wedding party also fitted the colour scheme with the bridal party in deep red bridesmaid dresses. Nothing beats Llinos’ dad’s checkered suit though. Potentially, the coolest father of the bride we’ve ever seen. Sunflowers were also part of Llinos & Kash’s flowers as they are Llinos’ favourite. They wanted a day that completely reflected them!

Surprise dances, readings, performances and more! This couple certainly know how to have an unforgettable wedding

One of my favourite moments was when our reader, Jenny, did a sneaky surprise reading. You can see our faces in the pictures that even during our wedding, we don't always have to conform. Another fave moment was when myself, my dad and my best friend downed a glass of champagne right outside the church before we went inside!
