Steph and John's Lyde Court wedding is cosy, warm and absolutely magical. With radiant autumnal colours, a hint of vintage and a whole lot of love and fun. They say their vows in the enchanting gardens surrounded by hops, before heading for a candlelit reception in the stone barn. And not only do they look incredible in a lace wedding dress and check suit, but they look like they are having the time of their lives too. Hello, smoke bombs and sparkler exits. Such fun must-have photos to capture with your wedding party.

We were just lucky that our wedding really reflected us. Our suppliers really understand us and what our vision was. Which in our words was mystical, magical and autumnal. All our guests soaked in the ambience and love filled the room, it really was the best day.
Lyde Court
I am in the wedding industry and did a lot of research myself. We knew we wanted warmth and candlelight which lead us to Lyde Court. Our venue then inspired the rest of our day. We used many local suppliers from the area that had worked at Lyde Court before including our florist, photographer and cake maker.
Juliet Cap Veil
Along with my seamstress, my mum designed my Juliet cap veil. I loved the vintage look it gave to my outfit, and the sentimental touches it included with embroidered names of family and friends who couldn't be there. I also loved our “til death do us party” neon sign and Florist Jo was just awesome in every sense.
If you can't choose between a bridal crown and a wedding veil? Then don't. Steph looks killer in both!
I had two favourite moments. The first was when we said our vows. I looked into John's eyes on a deeper level than I ever had before. And the second was when the party erupted and the heart cannon exploded. Everyone just looked so happy and it filled me with so much joy.
You've probably heard us mention Steph's Juliet Cap veil a lot! But if you're asking yourself "what is a Juliet cap veil?" Then allow us to elaborate. It's a wedding veil made up of a cloche style cap connected to a tulle veil. It comes in a range of lengths from a classic cathedral length to a floaty fairytale fingertip length. Steph's looks perfect teamed with her boho wedding dress at her Lyde Court wedding ceremony, as does her crown for the evening reception. WOW!
