The party doesn't start until the bride walks in wearing a Mira Zwillinger wedding dress! Poppy chose to pair the applique wedding dress with an embroidered veil and we are speechless over this look. Poppy & Oli married in a Wilderness Reserve where they got engaged. If you think the Mira Zwillinger dress is the highlight of this wedding, you might be right, but then again those extravagant pink flowers are certainly a big wow factor. This couple used Recommended supplier, Prezola, for their gift list.

Our advice would be to enjoy the whole planning experience. To listen to each other and pick your battles, with not only each other but with family who always get involved! Have a videographer if you can, even if it is for a few hours. Pictures are amazing but there is something special about a video. It is just the most amazing thing. Especially when the day goes so quickly and there are parts of it you don't see. We loved watching it back and seeing all our friends and family having the best time!

Mira Zwillinger Appliqué Wedding Dress

The Mira Zwillinger floral applique wedding dress matches the whole vibe of the wedding perfectly. Using the venue and the dress, the couple worked out a style that worked for them. Poppy & Oli's fave moments of their day include all the moments the couple took themselves aside and just watched everyone having a great time. They also loved the time they went into the tent for dinner and everyone shook their tambourines and danced along to the music. Having tambourines as the place names is such a fun idea and getting 150 people to do it together, is definitely something special!

Venue, Styling & Entertainment

The venue was the same place where Poppy & Oli got engaged. There was no particular theme for the day, as the couple wanted to work with the stunning surroundings the venue offers and THAT Mira Zwillinger dress. The flowers for the ceremony were very classic and white. Then for the reception, the couple switched things up with vibrant pink flowers which have completely blown us away! Let's give a moment for all the pretty pinks! Poppy & Oli had their band learn the first dance so they sang it live. Plus, Poppy's brother wrote his own reading and Oli's brother read a fave of ours, Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernières.

Bored of traditional place name cards? Why not pick tambourines instead?

I know we were incredibly fortunate to be able to have planners but GSP Events were our complete saviours. Our invitations, done by Susannah, were like no invitation we had ever seen and we couldn't have been prouder to send them out. Special mentions also go to our catering team from Social Pantry and Leanne and her team from Wild About flowers, I mean look at those flowers! and of course our incredible photographer, Sandra, from Divine Day Photography. The pictures will always be an amazing memory and she was so sensational at capturing the whole weekend so perfectly.
