Inspiration

Orange is definitely having a moment, isn't it?! We can't get enough of the citrus shade and have well and truly fallen in love with Lauren's orange flower bouquet. I mean bouquets! Yep, that's right, she has two! The first is made up of pompom dahlias and roses which she carries at her intimate registry office wedding, and the second consists of dried grasses, bunny ears and foliage. Both look exquisite, with orange being the colour that tied these two incredible celebrations together. There are also confetti moments, sparkler exits and, flower pressed cakes all captured by, Recommended supplier, Gina Fernandes Photography for us to enjoy.

Orange flower bouquet for an intimate town-hall wedding ceremony and country house wedding reception.

As a graphic designer, I styled the whole wedding with fun, starting with an orange colour scheme. My family and I made all the candles, napkins, wedding cakes, menus, table flowers and the wedding arch. It was a real group effort, we couldn't have done it without them.

Personal

Our vibe was personable with bright colours and great food! Laura's sister lead the ceremony at The Copse Country House with our parents and siblings all getting involved in the day in one way or another. We even incorporated a gin tasting session ahead of the speeches and chose Thai food for our wedding breakfast because it's our favourite!

Orange Flower Bouquet

Our family built our wedding arch, which took lots of planning and now takes pride of place in our house. Your London Florist designed two huge flower displays decorating our arch and the backdrop behind the top table. Everyone complimented on how beautiful the orange flower bouquet and displays were. The fact they were dried flowers is a huge bonus because it now means we get to keep them forever.

Dried flowers are a great choice because they last long past your wedding day.

Incorporating a sparkler exit in the evening is a moment I won’t forget. We did it at dusk and we could hear everyone discussing what an amazing time they'd had so far. It was the perfect way to kick start the evening reception.

Choosing the right florist and wedding flowers to complement your wedding can really add to the aesthetics of your day. Lauren's orange flower bouquet was the perfect choice to accompany her crisp white bridal suit. And the orange and green dried flower bouquets were the perfect accessory to the satin bridesmaid dresses.
