Inspiration

Recommended supplier, Amie Jackson Weddings Events wanted to create an elegant pastel green wedding using soft shades and luxurious details. Botleys Mansion in Surrey provided the perfect country setting, with the couple adding all the glamour in a tuxedo and chic wedding dresses. There's also impressive illustrated cakes and vintage cars, so sit back relax and soak it all up.

Pastel green wedding inspiration in an English country house with elegant decor.

Choosing a venue that showcased elegant pastel shades was key to the design. The Green Room in Botleys Mansion, Surrey, was a perfect choice. Soft green, white and pink decor adorned the room making it the perfect place for showcasing a beautiful reception tablescape. The outside space was equally important. Set amongst 56 acres of, English countryside, the grand Palladian mansion oozes elegance and charm from the moment you drive through the entrance gates and down the winding driveway passing the fountain, mounting the sweeping stone staircase, and unlocking the front door to a romantic yet modern Manor.

Pastel Green Wedding

Taking inspiration from a palette of soft muted tones found within a summer garden we created an elegant pastel green wedding for a contemporary couple. Fresh, pastel blooms with a focus on peonies to represent the height of summer were created in loose, unstructured arrangements. Highlighting the pastel green wedding theme, a show-stopping trio of cakes in green, blush and peach were carefully colour mixed with the goal being to add sophistication – and avoid looking sickly sweet. Fabric, hand-stitched menus and calligraphy place cards with flowing pink tassels sat alongside gold-rimmed glassware and cutlery, adding subtle sophistication to our tablescape.

Three stunning bespoke gowns by bridal designer Cynthia Grafton Holt Couture were worn to display ceremony, reception and evening inspiration for the modern bride. They included an off-the-shoulder, ruffled neck, ultra-soft tulle design which can be worn as a two-piece or a dress. We also showcased a chic and simple fit and flare dress with sheer Chantilly lace side panels and a soft champagne lace applique gown. Matching the primary pastel green wedding palette, the engagement ring features a beautiful pale green sapphire with sparkling white diamond side stones. Pared-back hair and makeup added a relaxed and refined touch.

A soft-topped 1951 British Bentley Franay ensured the couple travelled in style across the glorious grounds.

We imbued a slightly ethereal, dream-like quality to the imagery and styling creating inspiration for lovers of timeless elegance and alluding to memories of hazy summer days and romantic adventures. The perfect inspiration for a pastel-hued summer wedding!
