Inspiration

We've been covering all the seasons this week! Yesterday it was Spring and today we've fast-forwarded to Autumn with lovely pumpkin wedding decor, fallen leaves and dappled light. Bride Jessie's Grace Loves Lace wedding dress and the bridesmaid's pink lace dresses will have you swooning too. They are pure bridal party goals, not to mention FIT!

What Made Our Day Unique

We wanted everything to be Autumnal so there were candles, orange flowers, pumpkins of all shapes and sizes everywhere and lots of greenery. We wanted to make the day as laid back as possible so nothing was rushed and everyone could enjoy the day. The wedding reception was at a farm which meant guests could enjoy wandering and seeing the animals and we were lucky enough to have great weather for most of the day so we really were able to take advantage of Oxleaze's beautiful grounds.

Pumpkin Wedding Decor

If you're having an Autumn wedding chances' are you'll find a pumpkin or two in the shops. They are a great budget-friendly way of adding colour to your reception whilst paying homage to this wonderful season. Plus, you can now buy them in an array of gorgeous colours. Jessie and Ollie incorporated large orange pumpkins on the top table which they carved with Mr & Mrs, as well as adding some to the table centrepieces. The possibilities really are endless.

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted our vibe to be Autumnal and laid back boho. To us, this meant candles, a floaty dress and lots of wildflowers and greenery. Pumpkins were a huge part of our day too and we had some on every table which looked really beautiful. Our favourite moment was the evening party. There's nothing like being surrounded by all of your favourite people and partying the night away. Plus we did a sparkler send off which was just magical!

Grace Loves Lace are just one of our many talented wedding suppliers handpicked for our wedding directory, The List. So, it's wonderful to hear that Jessie who was worried about finding a dress walked into the Grace Loves Lace London Boutique and the first dress she tried on was the one! It really does suit her down to the ground, and I love that she enhanced her boho look with a foliage flower crown.
