Julia chose to wear a traditional San Patrick wedding dress for her classic wedding at Hotel Endsleigh in Devon. Matt and the groomsmen were in smart morning suits with the bridesmaids in gorgeous sage green satin bridesmaid dresses. The couple had an outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by white flowers and had their reception indoors thanks to the rain. But Julia & Matt had just over 50 guests attend their day, and having all their loved ones in one place was all that mattered. If you’re having a civil ceremony and have found your perfect venue, before you pay the venue deposit, check that the registrar in the area is free at that date and time. Remember hair stylists and makeup artist's busiest times are at the weekends so your hair/makeup trials will need to be midweek.
San Patrick Wedding Dress
Julia's favourite part of her wedding day was walking down the aisle through the flowers to meet Matt. The outdoor botanical vibes are everything and Julia looks incredible in her San Patrick wedding dress. Julia & Matt also had eight wedding speeches that were all hilarious! Although they had a lot of speeches, the wedding was intimate with just over 50 guests. Julia said it wouldn’t have bothered her if she'd fallen flat on her face walking down the aisle! She just felt so comfortable only having the nearest and dearest attending the big day.
Hotel Endsleigh
The wedding venue, Hotel Endsleigh, set the vibe. Julia & Matt wanted an elegant and relaxed day they knew their chosen hotel wedding venue could deliver! The couple raved about the staff and their dedication to giving Julia & Matt the day they always wanted. From the food and wine to the service and planning the couple were delighted with everything. During the wedding, Julia & Matt had some wedding readings. The couple chose Wild Awake by Hilary T. Smith and Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton (some of our fave choices)!

Don’t sweat the little details too much. As a guest, how much do you remember about the little personal touches of a wedding? Typically not that much! We spent a bit of time making the name cards and the seating plan for our wedding using ribbons and dried flowers. It was raining on our wedding day so we couldn’t even hang the seating plan outside. It still made a nice interior decoration but it wasn’t used as a table plan!
