Alex & Chris married in a botanical-style wedding with a secular ceremony in France! The couple really wanted their big day in an industrial, green atmosphere with a few boho touches to remind them of the South of France. Their original wedding was supposed to take place in September 2020 but they patiently waited and were able to have the day a year later with their exact vision! All we have to say is, it was worth the wait!

Secular ceremony

The secular ceremony was the moment that made Alex & Chris laugh and cry. All their guests still talk about it! The secular ceremony was particularly emotional, all the guests were crying including the photographer behind her camera. It was magical! Having a secular ceremony was the best way to celebrate their love as it incorporated more of the personalities and beliefs of the couple. There was a thunderstorm during the ceremony that made Alex & Chris feel like they were alone in the world, lost in nature, and surrounded by their loved ones.

Green wedding theme

The theme of Alex & Chris' wedding was nature with a colour palette of green, burgundy and beige as the dominant colours. There was a lot of vegetation in the decoration. The thunderstorm actually contributed to the theme and helped enhance that botanical and 'natural' vibe! It was important to Alex & Chris to choose a venue with an industrial style. So they decided on the shed, which is open to nature, with gorgeous metal beams and arched windows in the background.

Groom Outfits

Both grooms wore matching deep forest green suits. They got their suit inspiration from Pinterest and loved how good it looked when two grooms were in matching outfits! They preferred this style to opposite looks or reversed colours. Despite being very fashionable themselves, we have to say that their dog, Snow, also looks dashing in his pretty flower crown! He also matched the green wedding theme as well! So adorable!

Green is one of those colours that is flattering on everyone! You can't go wrong!

If the party mood goes down, send some shots for all your guests!
