Stunning Syon Park Wedding with Quill Stationery Suite

What a venue. What a dress. What. A. Wedding. From the décor to the flowers to the fashion, this is off the scale stunning. Bride and groom, Jasmin and Christoph, have nailed their brief of ‘boho luxe botanical’, and the gorgeous photos by Nancy Ebert – a photographer who limits herself to twelve carefully selected weddings a year – show off this once-in-a-lifetime celebration to stunning effect. Ready to swoon? This is wedding goals – and then some.

Syon Park Wedding

We wanted to have our wedding in or around London, as this is where we have lived for the past ten years and we knew all our German friends and family would love to come over for a weekend of celebrations in our city. Syon Park proved to be the perfect venue: close to Central London, but with the feeling of a countryside estate. We were able to hold both the ceremony and reception in the same location but still have two different venues: Syon House for the ceremony, and The Great Conservatory for our reception. The Great Conservatory, a windowed room full of lush greenery, gives the feeling of an outdoor summer wedding without having to worry about the weather. We loved dancing the night away here with the Wedding Smashers, a RMW recommended supplier who rocked the dancefloor until the end.

Quill London Stationery
Jasmin & Christoph: Lucy from Quill London designed our invitations and we loved her style so much that we also got her to create all our on-the-day stationary: various signage (including a giant welcome board), the table plan, escort cards (to which I added a personal message for each guest) and menus. Lucy also designed our monogram which we used for several elements, including a wax seal. Personalisation was something we picked up in other elements, too: our names, wedding date, initial monogram and an image of our little pug Paul were embroidered into my dress, whilst two of our friends created temporary ‘Jasmin & Christoph’ tattoos, so the bathrooms were spontaneously turned into temporary tattoo stations, which was lots of fun!

Bohemian Luxe Styling
Our loose theme was ‘boho luxe botanical’, based around the colours of blush, gold and grey, with lots of greenery. We hired gold cutlery, glasses and plates from Duchess & Butler, and created a lounge area with vintage furniture from Vintage Style Hire and The Prop Factory, who also provided giant light-up letters which were later moved to the dancefloor. I love flowers and knew this would make a huge difference to the overall styling of Syon Park, and gave our florist – Vic of Scarlet & Violet – a brief of elegant bohemian flowers in blush, cream and peach plus greenery. We chose Café au Lait dahlias, a variety of David Austin roses, hydrangeas, delphinium and cosmos, alongside eucalyptus and olive. I was blown away by the flowers on the day, which exceeded all my expectations.

Beautiful, elegant and oh so much fun (hello espresso martinis): I’m struggling to think of enough superlatives to do this wonderful wedding justice. Plus, did you notice Jasmin’s day-to-evening change of shoes? And is it me, or does the sublime Syon Park have something of a regal air to it? If you, too, would like to dance the night away under the stars, a glasshouse or orangery is a fairytale setting to say ‘I do’. Here is a list of some of our favourite greenhouse wedding venues.
