Our eyes have been popping out of their sockets at all the divine inspiration we’ve been treated to this afternoon by Gluecksmoment and Julia Schick. From the pink wedding flowers to the intimate sweetheart table, whiskey station and dessert table, no stone has been left unturned to ensure this nature-inspired elopement has it all. Look out for the bride’s interchangeable shoes too, effortlessly changing from kitten heel to block heel and stiletto depending on your preference. Genius.

Cherry Blossom
Karen & Jonathan
I’ve been looking forward to blogging this gorgeous wedding for a while. As soon as Matt Horan sent over some sneak peaks I knew it was going to be something special. Sharing the images with the team and judging their reactions, it was clear that it was going to be more than special – this wedding is truly extraordinary. Karen and Jonathan filled their venue with cherry blossom and the result is nothing short of spectacular. Throw in some serious attention to detail on the decor, a bronze hued Watters wedding dress and some stunning florals and you’ve got yourselves a dream wedding day.
As always, the images from Matt Horan are beautiful – all the light and love captured in such a magical way. And bonus points to Karen and Jonathan who discovered Matt via Rock My Wedding and flew him out to California to capture their big day. It was worth every penny, as you’re about to see…
A Pink Blossom Engagement Shoot.
This afternoon’s engagement shoot is lovely. It gets right to the heart of what I think an engagement shoot should be about. And that’s just the two of you – no fussy venues or props…no fancy outfits and styling…
They are simply just two people in love. Which is exactly what it’s all about.
And Lucy and Danny look so comfortable with each other. They both just look so happy – it positively radiates from them.
I also love that Lucy’s pink jumper echoes the blossom and Danny’s shirt is as blue as the sky.
And there’s nothing more romantic than kissing under a cherry blossom tree.
