Love, laughter and a very happily ever after as we celebrate this amazing couples city wedding at East London wedding venues, Hackney Town Hall and Singer Tavern. You will be able to feel every emotion as you swoon over the wedding portraits by recommended supplier Joanna Bongard and film by This Modern Revelry. Not only will they swell the heart, but they’ll undoubtedly put you in the mood for the weekend too!
This rustic barn wedding is about to get you in the mood for the weekend. There are epic smoke bomb and dance off moments captured by Kazooieloki, plus a Ford Mustang wedding car which our super fun couple very cooley drive off into the sunset in. When they finally stay seated, they enjoy a divine reception full of greenery and candlelight. Ready to take a look? Thought so!
When a wedding begins with the bridal party lounging around the pool in ‘bride squad’ swimming costumes and culminates in epic smoke bomb pictures you know you’re going to be inspired from start to finish. We love the pastel florals, the naked tipi altar and without a shadow of a doubt our gorgeous couple who are full of love and laughter at their Devon wedding. The reception and speeches were held in the impressive glasshouse of Anran Manor, where the tables were decorated beautifully with illustrated menus, yet more amazing flower arrangements and tiny cactuses as wedding favours. And if you’re not wowed by these beautiful details, you will be when you see the DIY moss-covered table plan.
Relaxed weddings where the couple do things their way are what we’re all about here at RMW. We love Mel & Ollie’s attitude to planning, they did everything together, both taking an equal role. They wore exactly what they wanted, including a customised Little Mermaid jacket…I’ll let you take a peak at the wedding to see if it was Mel or Ollie sporting that number 😉 and they served their guests vegan wedding food because they are both vegans. And that’s just as it should be. It’s your day, so do as you please. Guests have a fabulous time when the wedding reflects YOU. After all, they are there to celebrate YOUR love.
Super competitive couple Charlotte and Ben run marathons in their spare time, so naturally their wedding day was high energy, with a couple of contests thrown in for good measure. From wedding bake offs, with actual medals, to the tug of war, the whole day was about everyone getting involved and having fun. And it’s clear from everyone’s faces that they had a wonderful day!
As well as Amy Fanton’s dreamy images, the couple chose This Modern Revelry to film their big day. According to Charlotte the wonderful Laura & Alan made them ‘feel like the lead singers in our very own music video.’ Which is surely exactly what you want from your wedding film?! It’s a lovely day, with beautiful styling and fabulous fashion choices (including Needle & Thread bridesmaids dresses), so I think it’ll be right up your street…
There are weddings and then there are WEDDINGS and this massive party at Trinity Buoy Wharf definitely falls into the second category. From start to finish it’s clear that everyone is having a ball, Kerri’s smile doesn’t leave her face for the whole day! Exactly as it should be.
With a large number of guests and lots of logistics involved, including boat travel, a fabulous wedding coordinator was needed – Always Andri was the perfect woman for the job. The day ran without a hitch and looked utterly beautiful too. Let’s get started shall we? There’s lots to enjoy…
Bride & Groom, Emma & Martin had planned the perfect outdoor Summer wedding in the gardens of Parkside School in Surrey where Emma’s dad works. The hedges were pruned, the chairs were set out and a gorgeous chandelier was hung from a tree branch which was to be the perfect spot to say I do under.
That is until the heavens opened and all the guests had to dash back inside for a ceremony in the hallway. The staircase became the aisle, and judging by the photographs by Nikki van der Molen Photography it didn’t matter one bit that their original plan didn’t happen. Everybody is still full of joy and it looks pretty as hell.
The pastel colour scheme, romantic florals and vintage decor make this a pin-tactic wedding from start to finish, and Emma’s lace Stella York gown couldn’t be more fitting for the occasion.
Hold on to your hats team, as this wedding is a total blast from start to finish. Gorgeous fashion and details are kind of a given with RMW real weddings, but we feature photographers and videographers with lots of different styles (quality being the similarity between them all). And today it’s all about fun and creativity. Katie and Mike chose The Crawleys as their photographers and This Modern Revelry to film their big day – these guys both love to capture the individual personalities brought to a wedding day and I have a feeling you’re going to really like looking at the images and watching the film. So grab a cuppa, get comfortable and enjoy…the joy is simply infectious!
For me Abby and Olly’s whole wedding is perfect. I couldn’t love their approach to their big day anymore – the couple funded their wedding themselves and found lots of clever ways to make sure that staying in line with their budget, while still putting on a stylish and fun wedding day. And Abby still got to wear two dresses and two pairs of shoes…I think she should start a new career as a bargain hunter for brides 😉
Saving money elsewhere meant that Abby & Olly could have the wonderful Jon at S6 Photography and Laura & Alan This Modern Revelry film their big day. And OMG I’m SO glad they did. The whole party has been captured beautifully and the film just brings the whole day to life. Be prepared to have a little cry and a little boogie all in the space of a few minutes…
