A wedding fest?! Okay, we're sold. If you're looking to have a fun, exciting wedding day, then why not turn it into a festival? Laura & Andrew met through their love of festivals and Andrew proposed at the top of the ribbon tower at Glastonbury. When planning their wedding, Laura & Andrew knew they wanted to have their day festival themed! In order to have an epic wedding festival you need an epic wedding band. Laura & Andrew found theirs through Recommended supplier, Alive Network. On hand to capture this fun-filled day was Recommended supplier, Stephanie Butt Photography.

Wedding fest in Loughborough for a Glastonbury-themed wedding

Don't give in to traditions and pressure from family, you only get to do this once (hopefully!!) and it should be a reflection of both of you. Also, pick a theme and stick with it, everything you choose should link back to this central idea. There's so much choice out there and it can be hard to see through all the noise, but having a theme really helped us make some big decisions and kept us focused on what the day would look like.

Wedding Fest

Laura & Andrew wanted to bring all of the relaxed, fun, and slightly crazy vibes to the big day! Their aim was to bring Glastonbury to Loughborough! The couple knew they didn't want anything to be boring or formal and didn't care what happened as long as everyone was having a blast. Being a pretty relaxed couple, they wanted every aspect of their wedding to reflect that. They had a big BBQ for dinner and ice cream after! We can't think of a better summer menu!

Pom Pom Confetti

The party was both Laura & Andrew's fave part of the day! Their band was fantastic. Like with any wedding, there's a whole mix of ages, but the band really got this and played the crowd so well, including rock versions of Britney Spears! They also had lawn games with space hoppers, hopscotch, and a tumble tower! Instead of traditional flower confetti, the couple had colourful pom pom confetti. They decorated their day with disco balls and fun fabric streamers.

Get yourself an epic wedding band, disco balls, and a tipi and you've got yourself a wedding fest!

If you're having a remote location wedding we'd definitely recommend organising transport for the end of the night, we had a double-decker bus come get us and our guests. It meant everyone could relax right up until the end rather than worrying about a taxi and it meant that the party continued all the way back to the hotel!
