We wanted to have an untraditional and romantic wedding. It was a beautiful late summer’s day and we wanted our vibe to match the beautiful venue. Most of all we wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy the day with us.

Wedding first look at Multicultural Cripps Barn Celebration

A wedding first look is a beautiful and intimate moment shared between the bride and groom. A carefully planned reveal, the couple sees each other for the first time, looking all shiny and beautiful. This moment allows the photographer to capture genuine emotions and reactions. They make fantastic wedding photographs, filled to the brim with warmth and love. Olivia & Janu's first look photos are simply gorgeous. And it's not just because of Olivia's stunning contemporary long-sleeve wedding dress, or Janu's chic white blazer. You can really see their eyes lighting up when they see each other. I'm not crying, you are. This wedding may have been considered intimate in comparison to a typical Asian wedding, but it was filled with emotion during the ceremony. The couple exchanged personal vows and included heartfelt readings, creating a truly special and meaningful moment. The colour palette of the day revolved around shades of pink, deep reds, and a touch of light blue. This was beautifully showcased in the floral arrangements and the whimsical 'til death do us part' 3-tier retro wedding cake. 

We had a mix of cultures from the bride’s and groom’s family. We managed to add so many personal touches such as Chinese lanterns & sparklers for our exit. Our favourite moment of the day had to be either the wedding first look or walking down the aisle and seeing each other in our dream wedding venue surrounded by all our loved ones! If we had any advice, it would be this. Go with your gut instincts. Choose vendors/suppliers who you really get on with and don’t be afraid to change your mind.
