So many couples say they spend no time together on their wedding day. Not having a full day celebration meant we could go away for the night and relive the day. Celebrating becoming husband and wife, just the two of us.

Originally, we wanted an elegant winter wedding. Lots of white flowers and foliage, good food, drink and music, surrounded by all of our friends and family, to really make the most of everything Davenport House offers. What we actually had was an incredibly intimate and joyful ceremony, with a focus on what’s truly important – getting married.
