Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am Sarah Jane Egan, a goldsmith/jeweller living in Caerphilly in South Wales with my husband and children. I’ve been trading on and offline as Fragment Designs since 2011 and as of late 2024 I’m delighted to be running workshops too! My jewellery is representative of my love of nature and interest in science, but increasingly also in the Irish and Welsh languages and mythology. As a former teacher, I am delighted to be able to offer workshops now, and my Make your own Wedding Ring Experience days are my favourite! Make your own rings, or eachothers, from start to finish with some homemade cake and non alcoholic bubbly in a relaxed atmosphere. Make the rings of your choice, in the metals of your choice, personalise the inside at no extra cost and have a day of memories to treasure alongside them!

We had a lovely time one Saturday making our own wedding rings with Sarah. She has her own workshop at the back of her garden where you can spend several hours making rings. There were so many lovely ring designs to choose from that we are hoping to visit again to make some more rings! Making the rings was surprisingly simple but we were there most of the day. At the end we were able to have a little go stamping some copper pieces and made little keyrings. We were given lovely cake and cookies to keep us going throughout the day. Would recommend you pay the workshop a visit.
