Absolutely! No previous jewellery making experience is required. Our tutor Sophie is an experienced Goldsmith and will guide you through each process step by step, working at your own pace.

During our private class you will be gently guided through the whole process of making your wedding rings. In the morning you will each make a practice ring in silver, which will enable you to get a feel for the tools and processes you will be using to make your actual rings. When you are ready we will move on to making the final wedding bands together in gold, palladium, or platinum. We can also recycle existing gold jewellery and craft it into new rings, making them even more special.

Yes! We offer recycled gold as standard and can also source fairmined gold.

We can absolutely set diamonds or any other precious stones in the finished rings. This isn't something that we would do as part of the experience as its a specialist skill but we can offer sustainably sourced stones and these can be set in your wedding rings after the experience, by a Master Stone Setter.

We will invite you to our Bristol Studio for a free design consultation before your experience takes place. (this can be via zoom if you can't easily visit the studio). During the consultation you will be able to see samples of wedding bands for inspiration and we can chat through design options (Most couples opt for a simple band, but you have the opportunity to think outside the box here ... The design can be as simple or adventurous as you like!) If you love the idea of having handmade wedding bands but would prefer to have someone else do the making, we can help with that too. Perhaps you want something that fits snugly around your engagement ring, a band encrusted with diamonds, or to recycle sentimental gold into your wedding rings? Sophie will work with you to design & make the wedding bands to your exact specifications.
