Cornish Tipi Weddings

Dear Cornish Tipi Weddings, Thank you so much for helping to make our day the best day of our lives. When viewing wedding venues Cornish Tipis was initially a wild card as we were set on getting married on the beach. However, after viewing Cornish Tipi Weddings with Kim we instantly fell in love with the venue and knew we couldn’t get married anywhere else- it was the perfect venue for a fairy tale, midsummers nights dream wedding in the woods crossed with a festival. It’s the perfect blend of working with experts who have clearly done so many weddings before, but the DIY nature of the venue means that you can really add your own touch to the decoration and the day can be completely what you want it to be. You’re in full control of the order of the events and how you want your wedding to be. It was really important to us that everything happened in one place for our wedding so that guests could turn up on Friday and not have to leave if they didn’t want to until the Sunday morning after the wedding. There was a yellow weather warning for rain for our wedding an it was still incredible! Kim liaised with with all of our suppliers to make sure they were fully informed and told us everything we had to bring for the venue- along with plenty of organisation tips and tricks. We would highly recommend CTW! So many of our guests said it was the BEST WEDDING EVER! Due to the setting. Getting married by the Lake was magical. Staff were so adaptable to some last minute changes on the day due to the weather. The general Zen vibe on site automatically makes any anxious bride calm, chill and happy! CTW communicated really great through out our planning months. We all definitely be going back for future anniversaries.

We almost have no words!!!! We got married last Saturday (29th June) at Cornish Tipis - and just WOW! Where to begin!!! The staff were INCREDIBLE - so so friendly, warm, lovely and welcoming. They were so organised on the day, and thought of every little detail. We had so many comments on how "chilled" we were as a couple - and we have to say, this is all because of the amazing staff on hand on the day. Everything went so smoothly, and if we ever had a last minute "Oh gosh, did we think of this??", you bet they were one step ahead! Everyone was super chilled out as well which suited the vibe of our wedding perfectly, nothing felt like a stress at all. The venue itself is super unique and just breathtakingly beautiful! We invited guests to join us at the onsite café for pizza and drinks the night before (something which we would definitely recommend) and enjoying a beer surrounded by loved ones as the sun set and the fairy lights turned was such a special way to start the weekend. On the day, peacocks and bunny rabbits roam the grounds (are you kidding, so cool!!), and the forest was such a luscious green. We chose to have our ceremony by the lake (again, would definitely recommend), and it was so special as a bride being able to enter the ceremony by boat with my parents. So many guests said that they had never seen anything like it before - and were unlikely to go to a wedding like this again. We also rowed away on the "Just Married" boat, which again just felt so special and made for the coolest photos! The rest of the day was just spectacular - we partied into the night, then a few of us stayed up toasting marshmallows and drinking wine by the fire pit before retiring to our tipis. We swam off our hangovers in the lake the next morning, along with a coffee and breakfast roll from the café There are just no words to describe this venue and all of its loveliness. It exceeded our expectations completely, and we just wish we could relive this day again and again! Let this be your sign to stop searching for venues - as you cannot possibly find a better one that Cornish Tipis! THANK YOU ALL for truly the best day of our lives! Abbie & Rory

We couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect and beautiful wedding venue. The team were outstanding and made everything so special and made us at ease as soon as we arrived. Everything they did, all the little details were so perfect. We riskily didn’t visit the location prior to our wedding day and to be truly honest, I’m glad we didn’t. Being left speechless by our marriage spot, which was the lake, added to the magic of the day. The staff were also really helpful with helping us with anything we needed. We truly, truly couldn’t have had a more perfect day. Thank you so much to everyone.

Where to start. We decided to book our wedding in April for July so we had ALOT to do. The team there were faultless Kim is outstanding she helped and advised so much! We were attemping to do all of it oursleves which at first worried the venue cause they want to ensure everything is perfect. But we all worked together and made something perfect! Letting us access the marquee early to set up to help. Now onto the lads! John, Will & Tom. I wouldnt of got the day i wanted without them i cannot place value on what these guys do enough. Wedding with waiters and waitresses in uniform dont have anything on these legends in rain macs boots and caps!! they are everywhere and make so much happen in the background an so attentive in delivering everything you need. They are a great laugh too! I dont want to forget the 2 casual staff that came to work for us in the afternoon and night time they were brilliant serving our food and drink they were very professional and efficient definitely trust in them to do what you need. We stayed for 2 weeks in our tent with kids so got to know everyone there and it is a truly remarkable venue like no other the lake alone is a selling point (Defo don't skimp on having lake ceremony). From the bottom of our hearts i cannot thank the guys there enough by the end of our 2 weeks we truly felt like family and we will visit any time we are around just to say hello. I cant wait to go back and renew our vows in future as it holds such a special place in our hearts. Keep doing what your doing you're smashing it! THANKYOU.

From the moment we met Kim to walk around Cornish Tipis, we knew it was the venue for us. It is just beautiful and all of the staff so kind and helpful. The two years waiting for our big day (or small day, as there was only 14 of us!) flew by and the communication and advice from the Weddings team throughout was spot on. We had a truly wonderful and magical day, despite the rain, and the staff were so helpful when we changed our evening plans. May is such a special time at Cornish Tipis, with the luscious green trees and ferns and hot pink wild flowers. Cannot wait to visit for our anniversaries.

We had the most amazing wedding we could have ever hoped for. Our first look round with Kim confirmed to us it was the place for us, as we loved the relaxed but organised vibe, and how much choice you have with what you do. The best things about the venue are the staff, who are all friendly, chilled but also efficient, the beautiful site, the festival vibe- having everyone stay for the whole weekend meant we spent time with everyone and had fun with guests young and old, how much freedom you have with your day, the wonderful on site food, and the importance of sustainability. We had every weather on the day but even pouring rain didn't cause any concern and we really appreciated the staff rushing to hand out umbrellas in the ceremony before luckily the sun reappeared. All our guests had an incredible time and so did we. We can't wait to come back for a visit.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our wedding absolutely perfect. Not was it the perfect location, with many scenic backdrops but the staff really couldnt do enough to help. Kim was absolutely amazing not only as a wedding coordinator but also a fantastic, super friendly photographer and our pictures were out of this world. John and the lads were also super helpful, friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. We even had a delay on our end on the wedding day and all the staff at the venue were super understanding and helped smoothly change the order of the day around to suit us.

Over years of planning and three postponed wedding dates, we made it through the pandemic and celebrated in the best way possible. The team were so kind, supportive and helpful throughout the whole process and made sure we had a brilliant day. They embraced our kooky and colourful nature and helped us coordinate an epic wedding day. It was definitely worth the wait and our guests absolutely adored the venue as much as we do. The Top Village Field was packed full with our camping guests and there were others dotted around in private pitches too. It was fab having that extra time with them before and after the day. And safe to say we all felt more refreshed after a hangover swim in the lake on Sunday morning! We will definitely be back for anniversaries in the future!
