Tipi Wedding with Yellow Wedding Dress

We looked at previous weddings held at The Gathering for inspiration (including one featured in Rock My Wedding). With The Gathering being a rural and unusual venue, we thought it made sense to use suppliers who were familiar with the stunning setting to get the most out of the day. That's how we found our photographer Archie who captured the day beautifully.

Making the vows that we had written ourselves in front of all of our friends and family was incredibly emotional and almost surreal, after months of planning and one postponement. We were so happy that Karen (our celebrant) convinced us to do the handfasting too - it injected fun and drama into the ceremony and made for the perfect photo! We couldn't have imagined it better - it was meaningful to us and completely personal.
