Happy one-year anniversary to Charlotte & Patrick! Marrying at Anran wedding venue exactly a year ago to this day, Charlotte & Patrick had an epic Ibiza disco-theme wedding at Anran in Devon. The couple had a subtle Studio 54 party wedding day and plan it all to perfection with help from the incredible decor by Recommended suppliers, Virginia’s Vintage Hire and Out Of The Ordinary Event Hire! Charlotte wore a stunning ruffle wedding dress by Recommended supplier, Halfpenny London. P.S. Charlotte, we'd be VERY interested if you ever want to sell your wedding dress! How stunning! The couple also had a fun photo booth from Recommended supplier, Vintage Camper Booths! Now, let’s get into this day, we haven’t even told you about the DIY glitter post box yet!

Anran wedding venue

Anran wedding venue is just stunning! From the moment Charlotte & Patrick arrived to view Anran, they knew it would be special. The couple actually stayed at the venue for 5 days with both sides of their families. Charlotte & Pat have two small children of their own and lots of cousins, so they definitely needed the 5 days to speak to everyone. It all just worked perfectly! Anran wedding venue and every supplier that the couple booked made them feel like they had friends around at all times. As Anran has so many areas to utilise, Charlotte & Patrick decided to decorate each section with a part of their history as a couple. From disco party rooms to reflect them going to festivals and Ibiza yearly, to a rustic Devon vibe as they have a holiday home there!

Disco Vibes

As a DIY project, Charlotte spent hours decorating an old post box that Pat had found at work! She covered it in mirrored glass to match the rest of the disco ball decorations for people to post their cards to the couple! As for any party-focused wedding, music is essential! The couple wanted uplifting reception music to get guests on the dance floor! A saxophonist played in the courtyard during canapes and there was a brass band for cocktail hour after the meal. For the reception, they had a DJ playing 90s house music to match those Ibiza vibes. During their time at Anran wedding venue, the couple got to meet so many incredible suppliers. They wanted to specially mention Cru Events for such a fabulous day and fabulous food they still talk about a year on!

Enjoy it and make it fun, I had my bridesmaids over for breakfast and drinks to discuss plans and come up with ideas. Often, my husband and I would come up with crazy ideas and laugh that it was too much! But it was all fun, I really tried to not let the wedding planning stress me out.

Could there be any more disco balls? The answer is yes. There can always be more disco balls. Nothing makes you want to head to the dancefloor more than seeing disco balls. Actually, the only thing that makes us want to head to a dancefloor more is heading to the one at Anran wedding venue. Set in the glasshouse with all that natural lighting makes it a stage like no other! Charlotte & Patrick decorated with hanging chandeliers to add that touch of glamour and magic.
