Inspiration

This boho wedding decor is sending our senses into heaven and back! We are loving the bright & bold colour scheme, working perfectly against the fairytale Longton Wood venue. We are simply obsessing (yes, obsessing), over the brides flower crown, complete in burnt oranges and white florals. Oh, and don’t get us started on the food! In fact, we can’t decide what’s more delectable; the couple or the grazing platters? Hm, we’ll get back to you on that one.

Boho wedding decor with bright florals and vegan grazing table

Kirsty Mackenzie (recommended supplier) and I were keen that our interpretation of ‘Boho wedding decor’ was stand out. ‘Boho’ often means pampas grass and macrame (and while we’re a big fan of both!) we were keen to show couples you can achieve all the boho vibes without these elements.

FLOWERS

Annie Fern, our incredible florist, jumped on our vision! Sourcing flowers and foliage from local growers at Pitfeild Barn Flowers. She also grew a lot of the blooms herself in her allotment, foraging everything else from lay-bys, road sides and local fields. The result? Wild, yet modern floral arrangements that imitated the surrounding woodland and captured that unconstrained ‘freshly picked from the hedgerows’ feel.

TABLESCAPE

Gorgeous organic pottery plates by Elvis Robertson Ceramics (each one is a work of art in its own right). Piled among wooden candlesticks, coloured pots and glass bottles filled with grasses taken from the meadow, creating a rich and ambient setting for an intimate wedding breakfast.

FIRE PIT

The fab log ‘sofas’ were covered in layers of rugs, throws and cushions. While the fire pit was covered with a table top that was laden with bloom filled hand carved wooden vases, (by Ash and Plumb). There was also a stunningly decadent Vegan graze provided by the fabulous Gracefully Grazing.

Real couple Joel & Savannah bought all the feels to the ceremony scene, with Joel reading a surprise love letter he had prepared for the moment!

Eating is such an integral part of a wedding. We were keen for our relaxed table setting to show brides that it’s possible to take your guests on a free-spirited adventure, while still embracing (and even elevating) the sense of occasion. I mean who wouldn’t want a candlelit, alfresco fine dining experience in the middle of a wild flower meadow?
