Inspiration

Hello bridesmaid suits, hello Jesus Peiro wedding dress, and hello exotic flowers. But we wouldn't expect anything less than jaw-dropping from a bride whose day job is a florist. Pastel pinks, peaches and lilac anthuriums, ranunculus and orchids fill the aptly named ceremony venue, Floral Hall and make a great focal point for the couple's nuptials conducted by Recommended celebrant KathrynRecommended photographer Epic Love Story was also there to capture all the style and special moments including the couple's dog, Emma, gift boxes and speeches. Seeing is most definitely believing with this wedding, so take a moment to savour every last detail.

Stylish wedding at Floral Hall and Perilla, London with exotic wedding flowers, Jesus Peiro wedding dress and bridesmaid suits.

We planned and organised our wedding day by ourselves and decided that we wouldn't compromise on anything. Starting from the venues to the smallest details, it was something that we truly loved even before getting engaged. Also, we did our wedding floristry and stationery ourselves. We just couldn’t miss an opportunity to be creative. We got ready together and before getting into our wedding outfits, we enjoyed champagne with oysters as it's one of our favourite Saturday morning traditions. Our dog Emma was together with us during the ceremony, we couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her.

Suppliers

Behind each of the suppliers is a different story. The first supplier we booked was our photographer Emma. I had been following her on social media for a while and without a doubt, I knew that she was the one. Emma recommended us our videographers and a wonderful hair and make-up artist Natalie - Danielle. The ceremony venue is our favourite local bar, we loved the fact that they had never had a wedding there before us. The reception venue was our favourite local restaurant where we have been going for a while and absolutely loved the food and atmosphere.

Bridesmaid Suits

This London wedding is about as stylish as weddings come so it's no wonder the bridal party didn't wear conventional outfits. Each bridesmaid donned a different coloured suit complimenting the pastel colour scheme and impressive floral arrangements beautifully. We think bridesmaid suits will definitely catch on, because who said they are just for the groomsmen? Not us! Plus, as much as we love a jumpsuit, bridesmaid trouser suits are so much easier to get in and out of.

Say it with flowers - orchids, anthuriums and ranunculus column flowers to be exact.

The vibe was very relaxed and chilled. We both absolutely love colour and were sure that we wanted our wedding floristry and styling to be quite colourful. But at the same time, we also wanted everything to complement both venues, which have a lot of very natural and earthy tones. The venues definitely give us a lot of inspiration. The colour scheme included lots of pastels, greens and natural brown tones, including the bridesmaid suits.

You may be surprised to learn that this isn't our first bridal party in bridesmaid suits, oh no! Eleanor & Karissa's bridesmaids wore beige suits with green heels and Amie & Matt's bridesmaids looked fierce in bright pink suits for their urban wedding.
