Inspiration

This Krispy Kreme doughnut tower isn’t the only delicious thing about Henrietta & Adam’s beautiful day. This gorgeous couple may have attempted to lull their guests into a sugary-induced coma, but it was the 37-degree heat that left everyone feeling slightly light-headed! Having made their way through Rock My Wedding, Henrietta & Adam tried to keep suppliers local, wanting to support small businesses around them. They handmade their seating plan, complete with fun photos of their wedding guests. Tables were named after random things they love (such as Fat Curry, Bruce Lee etc!) With a Gift List from Recommended Supplier, The Wedding Shop, golden hour portraits, and an outdoor reception of dreams, this is one you don’t want to miss!

We both have huge families (I am one of four and Adam is one of nine…!) So we wanted a big family atmosphere - what’s ours is yours kind of vibe. We just wanted everyone to have the best day. To drink and eat as much as they wanted, and for everyone to leave on a wedding high. From the very start we knew we wanted an outside ceremony in front of the Thames in our hometown so we based our decor on that - very British countryside but with lots of wildflowers and handmade touches. Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream vibes!

Henrietta & Adam ensured every decision made was personalised to them; from hand-painting their invitations, drying the petal confetti, writing their vows, and shunning a traditional wedding cake! Their guests complimented all those small details which added to the best day ever! The fact there was also a 37-degree heatwave added to the uniqueness (especially in the U.K.!) Adam was slightly melting in his velvet jacket… their guests also turned up dressed to the nines - despite the sweat!

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Adam & Henrietta’s favourite moment was entering the marquee as Mr & Mrs Bonwick! The nerves were gone and after a few glasses of champagne, they ran into the loudest cheers from their family and friends. Henrietta’s brother introduced them and Adam dipped his new bride for a kiss - much to everyone’s excitement! In the words of Henrietta: “Getting married to the love of your life and celebrating with all of your favourite people - it doesn’t get much better than that!”

Although he may have been feeling the heat… we’re loving Adam’s velvet suit jacket!

My brother-in-law came up with the idea to freeze grapes to keep the wine cool in the heat - madness or genius?!

We’re all about shunning tradition when necessary, and a Krispy Kreme doughnut tower is right up there! Because from cheese towers to pork pie towers, we’ve seen them all! Or perhaps you’re just in need of more golden hour portraits
