Oleg Cassini Wedding Dress and DIY Bouquets

What made our day special was all of the personal touches we injected into the styling and decor. It was important that the day reflected our journey together as a couple. Personal touches such as a banner of photos showing our most cherished moments together really added to the beauty of the day and allowed us to share these memories with our guests. As a creative, I love anything handmade and thoughtful so came up with the idea of making my bridal bouquet and creating the table name plaques and place cards for our guests. My family and friends helped with the bridesmaid's bouquets and setting up the table decorations and that just showed the 'mucking in' type of culture we both grew up on.

Teamwork makes the dream work! My advice to anyone planning their wedding is to accept any help you are given! I took the task of planning the whole wedding myself with minimal help as I knew exactly what I wanted the day to be like as the bride. I thoroughly enjoyed it but it was a big job for one person. I would also say that on the day of the wedding, just relax take it all in and enjoy the bubble of romance because the day passes by incredibly quickly!
