Your Monday is about to get brighter with this colourful Mexican themed wedding including Llama wedding guests, a bride in an embroidered wedding dress, and a tipi reception full to the brim with DIY decor and pretty flowers. Plus it includes not one, but two of our handpicked, The List, wedding suppliers, PapaKata and Retro Press, so you know you’re in for an extra treat. Enjoy lovely ones, I certainly did.
Temperatures are set to soar this weekend and so will your hearts at the sight of this PapaKata Sperry tent wedding bursting with sentiment. The couple says I do in the brides family church where she and her son were Christened and then head to her parent’s home where she grew up for a wedding reception of dreams at the bottom of their garden. Add some foliage wedding decor, sloe gin favours and a Suzanne Neville bridal gown and you’re in wedding heaven.
You may be starting to sniff summer in the air, but you are going to fall head over heels for this gorgeous winter wedding. Classic winter colours are picked up in key features – from the emerald green bridesmaid dress to the bridal bouquet of eucalyptus, white roses, white and blue thistles and ferns – and create a dream-like atmosphere, illuminated by candles and crisp winter light. This truly is one to savour, so grab a coffee (or a glass of wine; it is nearly the weekend after all) and pore over this perfect day.
Well, there is certainly nothing dull about this contemporary wedding in Sheffield. Bride Daisy’s uber cool style undoubtedly shines through with her gorgeous Laure De Sagazan gown, bright red lipstick and epic flower crown. And by her side are her beautiful bridesmaids in black floral dresses and matching scarlet shoes.
The sultry red and blush tones are carried through to the flowers. With immense hanging floral installations of roses, peonies and foliage finishing off industrial venue 92 Burton Road beautifully.
Turns out your Tuesday afternoon just got a whole lot brighter. Enjoy!
Roxy and Liam are outrageously good looking and their gorgeous York city centre wedding is every bit as aesthetically pleasing as the couple themselves. Roxy wears a Phase Eight wedding dress which fits her like a glove and is a great reminder never to discount the high street when it comes to bridalwear. We’ve featured lots of Phase Eight brides over the years, and I have to admit they always look spectacular (check out Philippa and Lucy for further evidence)…
The couple chose the fabulous Middletons Hotel to host their big day, a gem of a venue hidden in the heart of York. If you like stylish, city weddings with a touch of history and lots of flowers, then this wedding is definitely for you.
Fining a venue is hard, undeniably. What if you have to find a venue*, it has to be in Yorkshire and it has to facilitate 200 guests? Would you take the risk of booking an incomplete venue on the basis of an architect’s plans? Well, this couple did when they booked Wharfedale Grange and I bet they’re feeling pretty smug about it, rightly so.
This Anglo Indian Fusion Wedding is full of joy that radiates through the images by Kazooieloki’s from the happy guests, gorgeous couple and fairy-lit surrounding.
Now, let’s address the subject guys, Indoor Confetti people! Could this be the new thing? We bloody hope so! It’s definitely something that has been creeping into weddings and we are all for it. Olivia & James were delighted that the weather forced them inside for the confetti shots at their wedding. Even our very own PR, Marketing and Relationship Manager Alice had a confetti cannon during her first dance.

Bride Laura’s fabulous Design Your Own Karen Willis Holmes gown, mixing a Mimi skirt and Zoey bodice to form her dream wedding dress was literally the start of fusing two elements together to make one fabulous piece.
Bride Laura is originally from Yorkshire, and Groom Jonathan is from originally from London, and this gorgeous combination made for a stylish modern wedding in the beautiful setting of the Yorkshire Dales captured by the talented Leanne Jade Photography. They hopped from church to marquee and tied everything in with their wonderful DIY decor and details. Everyone looks like they had the best day, especially the lovely couple.
