A beautiful chaos of colour made Laura & Kris's wedding at The Bridal Barn in Claverley an absolute joy to behold. From the bold bouquet to the magical golden hour (captured in all it's glory by Recommended photographer Kirsty Mackenzie) it's hard to pick a favourite moment. The colourful confetti toss is a strong contender? Or perhaps that film-worthy first kiss? Actually it might be the moment the groom's brother split his trousers on the bucking bronco. Definitely this. (See the wedding video for more on that...). But on a serious note, it's hard to imagine a happier couple or more stunning backdrop to tie the knot! All we wanted for our big day was a chilled summer party! We had loads of colourful decor, a Greek style BBQ, a bucking bronco, basket ball, pizza and our favourite people around us. The bride's brother acted as our celebrant and led a blessing which was more like a stand up show and everyone just had a really great day in the sun!
VIBES
The vibe of the day was a big colourful summer party, and looking at these shots, it's safe to say they pretty much nailed it. With The Bridal Barn decked out for the reception and turning into a disco barn come the evening, the venue really had it all. Laura also looked incredible in her off the shoulder Grace Loves Lace dress and boho flower crown. Her aunty Lynne made the gorgeous cake and her mum crocheted blankets for the evening too. Talented women we salute you! And wouldn't say no to both a blanket and a slice...
THE BRIDAL BARN VENUE
This exclusive-use venue nestled in the woodland has all of our romantic rustic wedding fantasies coming true at once. Outdoor ceremony in the forest? Check. Photoshoot at golden hour amongst the trees? Oh yes, a definite check. Rustic wedding reception in The Bridal Barn with fairy lights and colourful streamers? We couldn't have planned this better ourselves. The only thing that would make this better is a pizza van and mobile bar. They had that too? Well then Laura & Kris, we'll stop talking...
